Christ.

I mean, I just wanted this team to come good no matter what, but it makes it so much better that we're doing it with a legend like Vossy instead of one of those two cauliflower.

Which is the difference between Voss’s early coaching career and James Hird’s.

Hird made his players take it.

Love his post match conferences. Doesn't get emotional. Doesn't get sucked into the journo's line of question.
He's considered and tells it as it is.

Doing a great job. If Teague was coach we would have collapsed last night. Our structure holds up. Injuries are killing us and we still could have won

Right on.

I'd include comforting and trusting.

Nothing derails him. TBH The Best I've seen and heard.

I'll agree - he is doing an awesome job, but hardly immune to criticism right?

Like why did he not get someone to lock down on Sinclair??? He skipped around that question in his presser...

I thought he did answer them, didn't he say he put Cotts on Hill after the second half and if we put too many players on players we would've affected our own game?

Yes I agree that he did answer that. Cottrell onto Hill who curtailed him but didn't want to upset further out own game by tagging Sinclair. As he said at the end, we had enough shots on goal to win.

I disagree.... Sinclair was by far and away (and then some) the BEST player on the ground. Got 10 "coaches" votes I think. Created multiple opportunities to "strangle" what you may be describing as our "own game", as well as bringing multiple other Saints players in the game to also create further opportunities? Regardless he killed us and had a huge impact on the result (despite the fact we missed multiple easy shots at goal).

I can’t believe that we’re nearly 2/3 of the way through the season and Voss still hasn’t won us a flag…

I can't believe that we're nearly 2/3 of the way through the season and know one is wanting the coach sacked .

IIRC Hill was doing a fair bit of damage in the first half.
I think our goal accuracy was the issue, it stopped our momentum a few times.

Yes Hill was and that was nullified by Cottrell, my point still stands however, Sinclair was by far and away another reason they got mutiple goals and/or goal opportunities in addition to our horrors in front of the big sticks being an issue as well
