Why not..... when he came at the club it was last when he left the club it was sixth last so all in all it has been an improvement.

Least the match day thread is entertaining.

People showing they not only have no idea about AFL but also the Premier League.

The club is flatlining.

Who's got the defibrillator?

Didn’t expect much given the injuries but they managed to hit a new low in that second half
Only one more game of this garbage left for the year

Half way through 2nd quarter we are 5 8 38 to 2 4 16 . We were playing all over them we should have been further in front.

Then from that point we allow them to kick 19 unanswered goals.

I don't get it. It simply doesn't make one bit of sense .
I wasn't expecting to win but how the hell do you get 22 points up then just roll over.

The difference between their best and worst is miles apart

Forward pressure was good but midfield pressure other than Bam Bam, Walsh and Fisher the rotations through there were extremely poor.

Kennedy and Walsh excellent
Found a player in Honey
Dow and OBrien ok
Good that Kemp and Durdin got a taste
Well done to Murph on 300

McGovern Charlie and Levi not fit
Weitering good in the circumstances
Umpiring abysmal 20 to 8

3 frees against Saad diabolical

End of Teague era we need a coaching clean out and a few players need to fade into the sunset zmurph Levi maybe Eddie

If Carlton were your abusive partner and you took it to court, it’d get two life sentences.

My relationship with this club has again reached toxic levels that I never ever wanted to feel again.

How can we be here again? And so soon?

Not sure about that.
Kennedy and Walsh were our only mids that performed.
Weiters tried hard.
I think we've found a player in Honey.

Feel sorry for Murph he deserved a better effort than that last 2.5 quarters from the team.
Game passed him 18 months ago but deserves to be in the list of all time games at Carlton. He gave his all for a long time in some VFL standard teams let’s be honest. Hat off to him not sure I would have hung around so long.
Gotta feel for Teague too not many coaches last after that sort of defeat especially at Carlton

That was so Carlton.

Reckon Cerra and Clarko just had a change of heart.

We are in a bigger hole than I thought. And I thought we were in deep s$&t.

There are many issues but having underperforming players on big contracts won’t help

Not sure where we go from here

Port were a class act recognizing Murph at the end of the game. Hinkley was on the ground telling his young players to acknowledge their opponent's contribution, that's what makes a club with culture.

All teams do that, these days.

No big deal.

Cripps
McKay
Docherty
Williams
Martin
Jack
Gibbons
Pittonet
Marchbank
Cunningham
Setterfield

all missing or to apply pressure for spots.

Besides all that - even if they did play midfield would have still sucked.
