Voss v Kingsley

Please be Kingsley!!!!! One, he hasn't failed as a coach yet, and two, more importantly, I backed him earlier at $10.

Just like the media drove the Teague appointment , they are driving the Voss appointment

Sayers will not be complacent like the previous president

All I knew , was 2 weeks ago it was Clarko but kennett reneged again on paying clarko a settlement and clarko pissed with this morons behaviour / professionalism and that was the final straw for Clarko and coaching us ,

I still don’t think it will be a Voss and I get he is here in Melbourne today (without quarantine but that’s a sorry for another time and not footy related )

The white zone is for immediate loading and unloading of passengers only. There is no stopping in the red zone.

The red zone has always been for loading and unloading of passengers. There's never stopping in a white zone.

Haha. Earthquake was pleasant. Not !! Hope everyone is ok.

That was insane , it was felt thru out Victoria

And Canberra.

My apartment building shook for a good few seconds, was still for a few seconds, then had another shake for another few seconds.

Canberra? FMD...I guess its connected to Mansfield/ Mt Buller by Great Dividing Range.

Must have been incredible.

I use to have a business on Chapel st, and can't believe the vision Ive seen and descriptions Ive been told.

Will be know as the day Voss shook the foundations of Melbourne when he came to close the deal as Head Coach of Carlton.

Voss favourite, but Kingsley supported in Blues’ coaching bid
By Jon Pierik, Jake Niall and Sam McClure
September 22, 2021 — 8.15pm
https://www.theage.com.au/sport/afl/vos ... 58tyk.html

Quote:
…The subcommittee, including new chief executive Brian Cook, three-time Blues premiership coach David Parkin and champion player and new football director Greg Williams, have been impressed with both candidates, who agree the playing list is in strong shape and rapid progress can be made. Voss was bullish about Carlton’s short-term prospects.

Club sources said that was also Cook’s view after a detailed analysis of the list.

Should Voss win the position, sources said he would be given a three-year contract to coach the underperforming Blues.

President Luke Sayers, who has driven Carlton’s ruthless decisions to jettison David Teague and CEO Cain Liddle, has also become involved in the final stage of the coach-appointment process…

…Voss would fit Carlton’s initial stated preference for an experienced coach at senior level, but Kingsley, the former Port Adelaide premiership player and assistant at the Power and St Kilda, has support because of his coaching history and would be a reset for the Blues, who hope their next coach can emerge in the manner of Simon Goodwin, Luke Beveridge or Damien Hardwick. The latter has lauded Kingsley’s input…

I'm sure Voss has to go into 14 day mandatory isolation when he goes back to Adelaide.

He must be coming because he knows he's close to getting the job.

May the best man win, Voss or Kingsley.

I'm glad there's been a process.

But, may there be candidates for the Head Coach role currently amongst the Doggies or Dees?

I don't think it will be Lyon if the abovementioned have impressed. Who really knows?

Yes, no need to quarantine here only when he goes back to SA.

Stupid question but how exactly is he meeting Carlton officials when landing in Melbourne?
Are indoor gatherings banned? Not sure you could conduct this in a outdoor and public setting.
