I assume the "top notch" coaches you are referring to are Pagan, Malthouse and probably Ratten? The first two were both senile, past their best and were there for the wrong reasons. Ratten relied purely on the talent we had at the time, but was a hopeless match day coach, much like Teague. Also like Teague, he liked to be one of the boys and everyone's mate.

This external review is well overdue. I hope change comes to every stinking department of this club.

Smart coaching and education for North players.

Oppo get a couple of goals so they take 2 minutes off the clock and control the ball.

Last 2 years every time we get a 5 goal run on our coach is "we have belief we just need to kick one against the play to break the momentum".

If Teague needs better assistant coaches to make him a decent senior coach, just find the best assistant and make him the coach instead. Or her, I really don’t care at this stage

They have a more talented midfield.....we have a more talented defence and forward line but thats not going to happen today as on crutches.

Been the same for 20 years. If the players don't want it badly enough, won't work hard enough it will look farcial with every coach. We even made one of the all time great coaches look useless and farcial. Nothing gets fixed unless you find the root of the problem.

We need to make an example of some of the non-workers and chuck those players out and make it a warning. Either but in or get out. Enough of just turning up for the pay cheque. That culture is the root of the problem. If that doesn't get changed we'll be talking about this in 20 years. At some point it goes beyond coaching.
