The same person we always have. The oppositions intercept defender.

No we won't bomb it. We'll kick it lace-out to the intercept defender. :banghead:

With McKay out: hoping to see Cripps and kennedy rotating between forward line and inside mid… maybe TDK toughs it out again with JSOS supporting.
Would be nice to think we won’t bomb it to the advantage of North but we’ll wait and see

Our first 5 choice key forwards out and only one fit ruckman on the list. This one be will be tough despite the opponent. Let’s hope we can turn our weakness into our strength. Small forward line with lots of movement. Lower the eyes and hit up leading targets with short, low kicks

On that note, what a massive game for JSOS. He’ll be our main and almost only tall marking target up forward and probably have to give a chop out in the ruck

Maybe play Jones up forward and pinch hitting in the ruck.
Weitering can take Larkey, Plowman can take Zurhaar and we won't miss Jones's clangers down back.

Yep. I suppose Ben McKay will have to go to JSOS. Massive mis match for them in the air but massive mis match for us at ground level and ability to cover the ground. JSOS needs to run him ragged. All our forwards need to be constantly moving creating space for each other to run into. If I see our forwards standing still with a hand in the air calling for the long kick I’ll spew up

I’ve tipped North. How are we favourites? Decimated by injury.

I would’ve picked Honey and played the Sentanta and the little helpers game plan, only this time it would be Cripps, Honey, Betts and Owies.

Jack Martin so Important at CHF this week. A repeat of last would be good.

Big test on base fitness as boys will need to do alot of running as high balls today will result in turn overs exit kicks won't be a thing so straight up the guts with run and carry - put speed on ball with good ball use and dominate ground ball gets is the way I read it.

I’d rather leave Jones in defence, he’d try and play the traditional key forward role and he’s never been good at that.

Yes to this.

Would much rather play short up front and leave Jones where he plays best

I am really worried about this game. Just can't see us kicking a winning score without Big H playing. He was the difference in the last 1/4 against the Pies when we started moving the ball better.

I really hope I am proben wrong, but just can't see it unless it is a very low scoring affair.
