Big pro was our hands in the last. Wet ball, so many strong contested one grab marks when it mattered. Martin, JSOS, Liam, Harry, Kennedy, Walsh from memory. Maybe even SPS.

It was Brayshaw and Nigel Carmody, who usually calls the VFL.

I generally don't mind Brayshaw as a commentator. Alongside BT he sometimes feels he needs to outknob BT which is virtually impossible. Without BT alongside him though, he is very good. Enjoyed Carmody's call too.

Agree. Brayshaw and Cormody were good. Bartel too. No barracking, just called the game and did it well.

Ch7 commentary in the last was a little spiritless and or even lackadaisical.

Carmody was good. There's something authentic about the VFL commentary style

I enjoyed that win as much as anyone.
But we shouldn't let 4 points gloss over the deficiencies in our system and gmae plan.
Collingwood are an ordinary team.
We had some mercurial performances in the second half to get us the win.
But against a top 6 team, it would have been a 19 point loss.

Some of the Pies turnovers were horrendous for them. Williams got on the end of a few if memory serves

How much better are Mondays after a win on the weekend.
It was funny watching the footy at my house yesterday.
I had to watch it with two Collingwood supporters.
In the first half it was me cursing and saying how shit we are.
Hubby kept saying we are shit too, I said we are shittier.
During the last quarter he said "I told you".
Had to agree, we are shit but Collingwood are too.

my take fantastic we won and for Sergio Silivagni and carltonfc. But my dislike is again we fell 20 pts behind a bottom 4 side and once again we played 1 quarter of footy this week it happens to be last . We need to change our game plan for 2022 to be successful. Watch swans play and you realize how far away we are . happy for stock, dow though

And what about Kennedy's goal from inside the square...inside the square!

It was like: "oh and Kennedy kicks a long goal"....move on.

A great win IMO.

Seeing that emotion on JSOS face both after his goal and after the game was priceless and emotional (for me too as I welled up big time).

Coaching: I'm going to put my opinion on this. To me it seems the backline coach (along with teague input) has been doing rather nicely. Someone mentioned we have averaged something like we have improved the points against us to about 60 odd since the bye. That a tick to the support coaching group (Is it Amos as the backline coach, but also including Teague) surely?

Since Barker left (ex Midfield coach), its been blatantly obvious how much impact, improvement and consistency we have seen from SPS, Dow, Kennedy, Walsh (just keeps increasing his superstarness), and Martin. Credit to Luke Power (along with Teague) surely?

My point is maybe just maybe Teague having decent support coaches (like luke power) and maybe just maybe the message from the powers that be has also turned around (we dont seem to be gifting games so much to Murphy (his injuries aside) for example), so maybe just maybe the club should be considering how they can support teague with more decent assistant coaches (the forwardline one should be looked at for example) before sacking the coach AGAIN.

Oh and THAT goal from Sam Walsh..... WOW!!!!!
