I'm worried about the ruck situation for this game. Bliz & Stanley are proven performers, plus they use Hawkins forward...and have the option of Ratugolea.

Can't see us getting much first use. If it wasn't for that I reckon our run could really trouble them

Yep, a lot is going to have to go right for us to even get close IMO. Teague & co will need to play a blinder from the coach’s box too.

Given the injury news, I'd probably go:

OUT: Cripps
IN: Williams

Fisher as Sub.

But we all know Cripps will play whether he can move or not...

I’d probably go Williamson for Williams and bring in Cotrell to play on Rohan if Cripps doesn’t get up.

If Cripps misses then Williams and SPS will need to split CBAs

Cottrell to play on Rohan… can’t see that ending well for us

Even though it reduces the possibility of us winning, part of me hopes Cripps sits this one out. Protect our 6 year investment, there’s no point flogging him right now if he has a bad foot. Give Weitering the experience of being match day captain. Plus, it will be really interesting to see the response from other players - will someone step up with more time in the middle?

Surprisingly I’m not sure we’d miss Cripps that much the way he has been playing, plus it will make our on ball cohort difficult to plan against.

Yup it would be ridiculous not to manage Cripps for at least 1 week, we’re not competing to play finals.
Best to understand the list better.
Protect our long term investment , see what Luke Power can come up conjure up we have the talented youngsters to rotate .

It would be the end of Dow’s & Kennedy’s improved runs.

Look what happened to Dow when Freo rotated off Cripps after 1/4 time.

Just put Curnow back on ball to cover for Cripps

Rest Cripps for a week and play Curnow on the ball.

Don’t worry we’ll get Lochie Plowman to sit on him.

Give him the challenge and tell him that this is his career game. Let’s pour the acid on some of these fringe guys to prove their value moving forward.

So Williams might come in at the expense of his son.
