Fisher, Setterfield & Williams potentially available this week. Even if they are, I wouldn’t expect them all to come in unless we have multiple injuries coming out of last night’s game that we haven’t heard about yet.

Hard to see Cameron playing

Williams in for Williamson

Not sure there would be any other changes.

Fisher has missed a bit of footy, maybe give him a game in the twos

And we are not missing setterfield. If anything we look better without him.

While the last couple of weeks have been better, the real indicator of us having a promising future is apparently an ability to get within 7 goals of Geelong.

I’ve got no idea how we’re going to handle Geelong’s ruck triumvirate (quartet if Ratugolea comes in for Cameron) with two guys that are pretty woeful at both ruck and forward craft.

The bold move would be to play just one ruck & take our chances with a part timer in the forward half, but we’re; A) not in a position to be that bold given the review, and B) not likely to bring in any extra oomph at ruck-rover if we want to be.

It’s a pickle.

I thought that Geelong’s big area of weakness is in the ruck?

Unfortunately I watch a lot of Geelong because most of their games are broadcast to Sydney for some reason, and I've always been impressed by Blicavs when he goes into the ruck, dunno why they don't make it a full-time gig.

Our clearances are the key. We need to setup and execute much, much better. I'm not sure if it's just ruck work or midfield setup but we need to get this right. Unfortunately, Geelong will destroy us if they get first use of the ball and clear break.

Ditto.

Blicavs is a freak.

Too big and too strong for TDK around the ground.
Blicavs is a great runner.

For Cats, its a case of robbing Peter (backline) to pay Paul (ruck)

Key is to nullify his influence, and make him defend.

No, the key is to win the clearances and get the ball predominantly in our half, and kick straight.

I feel our game is growing.

There’s always a pair with their ruck setup. No robbing at all.

Blicavs - Stanley
Stanley - Ratugolea
Ratugolea - Hawkins

A rolling duo from goal line to goal line.

Timid Tom will get massacred again… or do something dumb to blatantly cheat.

To win the clearances, we’ll have to shark their ruck. A guessing game.

TDk is a kid and along way to go ... we have no other Ruck options

Muphy is a self centred , all about him ( he still hasn’t retired , which means him and Teague are expecting he walks back into the side when he is fit , now that’s ridiculous)

So before anyone gets excited about these wins , we’re there 22 players busting their gut , mr I hear footsteps is due back soon !!
