Sorry Walshy, but I have to say Murphy doesn't kick spearing passes. His kicking looks nothing like Sadd's and williams' passes.

I'm sure most will agree that Murphy lobs the ball and has the ability to weight the pass well, but, he gives his passes too much hang time imo. He doesn't move the ball quickly to define it as a "spear pass".

I love your loyalty and support for a past captain, and he's a past captain for a reason. he is past it. Murphy is slowing down with his decision making too imo.

I could say the same about you Walshy with your "padding up" the truth of Murphy.

Lets get Murphy to 300, and FFS lets not fall back to the Carlton bias that got us in this mess wayyyyy back in the Elliot era.

That's when he stated that "Carlton doesn't rebuild", and "Carlton legends decide when they retire", then keep the likes of SOS, Bradley, Ratten... playing well into their 30's when we should have traded them or replaced them with players who would take the baton and run with it.

Murphy is cooked. Should've traded him when we had the chance, but I think the Geelong trade was a an unrestricted FA and we would ve got zilch for him.

Incredible how Levi was suspended for rough play and Buddy got off running through Newman with an elbow to the head.

Its criminal...and carlton FC are asleep at the wheel, which the Match review has their way with us.

Pitto, Casboult, Mirkov all out leaves 21yo Ruck to ruck alone.

The only support he can get without disrupting our KPD's is Harry (and if he's gone we have no Fwd Target), Jack and Crippa as the other two. Crippa has to give TDK a chop out.

Williams and Martin were 2 of the offenders/onlookers instead of running hard defensively.

They should be made to watch the desperation the Lions showed defensively all weekend on a loop till the penny drops what is expected of them at AFL level, regardless what they are paid.

Williams and Martin really should be dropped.

They may show something this weekend because they were finally called by the media, but they will fall back to their lazy ways straight after this game imo.

They are lazy for a reason. They get away with it.

Martin was dropped to the reserves at the GCS and was a reserves player when we targeted him.

So glad his contract was front loaded.
