5 Weagles out injured. Big outs too with Shuey already on the sidelines.
We have to win this.

They will come at us. As long as the boys are reminded of Simpsons statement about us.
I'm sure the boys don't need reminding. 4 quarters boys.

We found a way to give Gibbons a rest. Murphy should go too, but he'll be 23rd again imo.

We need to give Cripps and Walsh spells, so they are running full pace when on ball, especially in the 4th Qtr.
Would be good to have Dow in the midfield rotations.

I suppose there's only Setterfield left on the extended IC to be the big bodied mid and Cripps a spell.
I'd still take Dows speed and ability to win the contested ball over what Setterfield brings.

For me...

OUT: Gibbons Casboult Setterfield
IN: Fisher Parks Dow

Honey named on the extended hence and now into oblivion again , hahaha , that will do his confidence well !!

And they name 3 others , who cares , another week of stess , bs press conferences and just one week closer to end of season in august again ...

For the record get excited everyone , we have the tigers rd 1 in 2022 !!

Brendon Ah Chee (Injured), Jarrod Brander (Injured), Josh J. Kennedy (Injured), Oscar Allen (Injured), Tim Kelly (Injured)

Wow they are really giving us a fighting chance aren't they.

If Weits or Jonesy can well and truly sit on Big Jack Darling, we might be half way there.

Regards Cazzesman

Will our players and coach take offence to Simpson’s comments in a public documentary effectively saying we are soft or will they just roll over as per usual and prove him correct? If they have any semblance of mongrel or pride they will play that clip before the bounce and give them hell all day. I’ll believe it when I see it

Cottrell DE was 30% last week.

How does he maintain his spot?

Either b/c he barracked for the club as a kid or because he’s running some lovely patterns!

THANK YOU! Honestly WTF does the MC see in him? He had 10 touches for 3 effective disposals and 4 clangers last week. He was literally more effective for Sydney than us. So we were basically one short for the Casboult/Pittonet debacle and one short for Cottrell.

Our game plan is bad enough, we don't need to be playing 2 men short

WC for whatever reason are crap on the road. And they're banged up.
Opportunity isn't just knocking, it's bashing the door off it's hinges.

DO IT !!!

We’ll select Casboult, TDK, Pittonet, Harry, Fisher and Martin to play in the forward line. A mixture of slow, unfit, lumbering and out of form.

West coast will pick a group of young enthusiastic runners, attack through the middle and run us off our feet.

Fisher in for Gibbons
Dow in for Casboult
Parks in for Setterfield

It’s just hard to see us winning any game at the moment. The opposition needs to be ridiculously bad or we need everything going our way. Umpiring, lucky bounces, accurate kicking for goal etc. I won’t be expecting a win unless we’re 8-10 goals up. Any less and I’ll just be waiting for us to shit the bed

Let's hope we can bring the pressure tomorrow.

Just watched a game against Hawthorn in 1995. Comparing it to now, in every aspect, was like comparing chalk and cheese. So well drilled and understood every move of their teammates. Never seen pressure, hardness, skill like it and still don't see it in the current era from any side. Forgot what it was like. Hawthorn were physically and mentally shattered mess by the last qtr. I've never been big on ruck stuff but watching Madden I forgot what the craft was like. Won near every tap, tapped with authority, knew where he was tapping, and the Carlton mids, knew where it was coming, read it so well and jumped on it like a seagull on a hot chip. His tap work made Nic Nat to his mids look like an amateur. There was barely one out of the centre didn't go to advantage. Must've been 90% to advantage out of the centre.

Where did it all go? Admittedly that was one of the great individual sides of all time but still, we are the opposite that side in every respect. It's a reminder of what we need to bring if we are ever going to rise right up the ladder again.

What a great day and even better year. Amazing 'team' with talent, mongrel and skill on every line.

I think you're right. Lost to swans and aints, in fact got thumped by both in consecutive weeks after winning our first 7. Then played Hawks at what was Optus Oval and thumped them.

Better chance for a quote if they roll up to Sydney.

Just saying...
