I’m tired of always looking for someone to save this club from itself only to be bitterly disappointed as more and more and more years are wasted.

Agree with all of the above. I'd love to drop Pitto as well but don't want to throw TDK to the wolves.

Bring in Dow and SPS for a start and leave them in for the rest of the season.

I wrote Pittonet as an out too initially but deleted it as TDK can’t do a whole game by himself

Hopefully TDKs body is up to being the main ruck though from now on and not Pittonet’s backup.

Yep agree. Ideal situation is finding another forward who can play backup ruck... like Levi did well for a small window. Retire Levi, send Pitto back to the 2s as a backup ruckman, let TDK play 70-80% ruck time

We’re about to recruit a kid to develop for that first ruck role.

To all those Pittonet haters I agree he isn't the best ruck playing but he gives his all, something a few others in the team could emulate.

It would be nice for Dow, SPS, and Honey to get games. Dow and SPS play as mids.

Out: Setterfield, Casbault, and Gibbons.

Won't happen.

Hopefully:

Out - Casboult, Cottrell, Gibbons

In - Dow, SPS, Parks

We will be in it until 5 mins into the last then drop our bundle and lose by 4 goals

With lots of learnings outcomes

Don't hate Pittonet at all, I'm sure he's a lovely bloke.

I just don't think he's a very good footballer

Not sure SPS deserves an elevation.

TDK is earmarked as the first ruck for the next decade. If you're talking about that Mirkov kid from the 2s, he's played 2 years of footy at amateurs level. That's it. He's the definition of a project player.

Not sure he ever deserved a demotion. He was one of our best after his last game against after coming on as the sub in the second half.
Then he was sub again the next week and got about 15 minutes game time.
Then he was dropped and the 2s had a bye.
So in 4 weeks he had about one half of footy.
How the @#$%&! is the kid supposed to develop.

Put him mid/forward and tell him he's got 6 weeks to show us why he should stay there

Can't tell if you are joking.

If you read my post that is what I am saying.

He at least tries. Hello half our side.

Agree with the outs and ins

Dow and SPS throw them in the guts for the full game

Who cares about it we can have an honourable loss of 15 mins more excitedly we are getting 2 picks in the MSD :banghead:
The club loves trumpeting the trade and draft period because we never win any bloody games in the real season and every season after about round 5 because of underperformance we are looking for the next draft and trade period now we can be fixated on the MSD

I suppose it means the next instalment of watching Charlie train can be held over til next week

Players improve in people’s minds the less they see them play.

He was crap in the VFL the other week and Dow didn’t even play that game.

LOB is more chance of coming in than either of them.

Your comment about LOB is what is called “damning with faint praise”, LOB is nowhere near the level required for AFL based on his last few VFL matches. Which is probably what you meant….

It's called rotation.
Name any other club that relies on 3 mids like our stupid club does.
In this modern game you need at least 6 - 8 mids , gone are the days of 3 or 4 on ballers.
It's no coincidence that we keep leaking red time goals coz our only 3 mids are cooked after busting there gut for 20min

Carlton v West Coast. In 3 weeks time it will be the 30 year anniversary of this match

https://www.blueseum.org/Round+14%2C+1991

One of Carlton's greatest ever H&A victories.
