One thing on the coaching/game plan.

Just go and watch how they cleared from a point that we scored compared to the way we cleared it. Most times we kick to a contest or straight in the centre. They cleared the ball so easily.

Small ground yet we gave them so much room to move.

Our midfield today comprised of Cripps, Curnow, Walsh, with 12 touches from Setterfield. And that's about it. Way to go Teague!

We played 3 @#$%&! ruckmen. No wonder they ran us off our feet

yep for me again, like a repeat rinse cycle, too many players who do not get enough of the ball. Until we rectify we will lose a lot more than we win
+Casboult - really? Why?
+ Gibbons - really? Why?

There is ample talent. We need a better coach to get the most out of it

Martin, Saad, Williams, they're all underperforming.

The players need to be inspired

Everyone fails to get the most out of this list. Changing coaches will be like changing the deck chair on the Titanic. Time to start weeding those out who don't want it badly enough. Teague has by far the 2nd best record of any of our coaches this century, sad to say, including 2 high profile premiership coaches, both who created the rot.

Players have to inspire themselves, like in any sport. I can tell you that as a coach from a shit lot of experience, not to mention my qualifications in Psychology and Physiology. As Parko said not long ago, a coach can encourage but motivation has to come from within and if it is not there you it isn't happening. If players have to be inspired then we have no hope. This is a player and sports psychologist issue. Just change the coach and nothing will change on that count. Bad cultures kill coaches. Can only get the most out of talent if the players want to badly enough and that is up to them.

Back home . You sensed in the 3rd quarter it was only a matter of time.

Just to much left to to few then they try to do to much and it costs us.

Cripps turned it over a lot in the first half but redeemed himself in the 2nd half to be our best.

Harry could have had 8 or 9 but he also could have given a couple off sense he is like Cripps and Walsh and try win off own boot and doesn't trust others around him.

To many bland Salad players who offer not much.
Fogarty Gibbons Setterfield Cotrell you hardly notice them.

I have said this after the last 150 games but what does Levi offer.

TDK will come good.
Martin was not ready.
Eddie should stop calling for the ball and players should stop thinking he can take a mark.

Swans time and time again took the ball out of the centre bounce by blocking Cripps and allowing Cripps man to link out the back

Newman gave his man to much room and was poor today.
Saad allows himself to be dragged deep where he ineffectual.

Doc is scared of contact and won't bend down to pick up ball.

I was buggered watching Ed warm up , sprints up and down ground must have done 30off them no idea how he ran out game

To many talls and got run over

At times it looked like we were going to flog them . In patches they looked sensational but them all of a sudden nothing and they look disinterested.
It's weird to watch.

In two minds if I will go next week

Bullshit. Teague is the only one who has had a chance with this list. We've had a rubbish list for most of the past 20 years but we don't now. We have plenty of talent in the right age bracket

3rucks plus a bloke who hasn't played for two months. Then add jsos who was out of puff midway through the second and it is easy to see why we get ran over after 3/4.
Pick a balanced side of blokes who can run out games .

Yes. And SPS to play midfield rotating half forward for the rest of the year. Let's have another look at O'Brien before cutting him loose. Let's get a look at Honey, also Kemp towards the end of the year.

I agree we should not have played the 3 talls but it has nothing to do with how you clear the ball out from a behind. In fact if you kick the ball to the advantage of a tall this may have actually helped. Yes around the ground playing 3 talls was crazy especially when one was Casboult, he can't bend over and offers nothing if he cant mark the ball - lost his marking ability.

Bullshit nothing. List drops alot after the top end of it.

Facts are the same. We lack drive, the will to win and real motivation. Change the coach and the issues are the same. It's not about talent. We actually play great footy for long periods against the very best too, then have those mighty lapses, plus we shit our pants against good sides, as we did later last year when finals beckoned. Issue is above the shoulders. Why do we blow 27pt leads against the top side in the last qtr. Brilliant then collapsed. Today, right in it and fell apart at the start of the last qtr. Happened a few times in the last couple of years. That's above the shoulders. We don't have a great list, good at the top, drops out at the bottom, we are very, very competitive but can't take that step to become winners. Bad lapses and shitting ourselves when it matters is the only reason we are not in the 8, and didn't make it last year. We need more to go further but that would be a start.

From our 2016 and 2017 draft selections only TDK at pick 30 was playing today. Guys who would be 4 and 5 years into the AFL system and improving other teams have been a bust for us.
It's starting to become glaring. Guys like Levi are getting games for the sole reason that the talent bought into the club simply hasnt had the desired effect. Throw in some bad luck with long term injuries to Charlie and Marchbank and it's a cluster @#$%&! .

You can throw in the class of 2014 draft for good measure.

I'll be letting my kids pick their own team. I refuse to do this to them.

My grand kids sit with me to watch this rubbish.

What have I done.

My two kids under 10 walked away while we were two goals up. I asked why and one said “be serious dad, even you know we will lose by somewhere between 20-30 again in the end like every week.”

OMG

My boys were flat after the game.
i kept up appearances wuth the locals.

Don't tell me the rebuild is a dud ... coz its not.

Field kicking is not at a high standard.
Saad got stuck in the BP as a lockdown defender...FMD...WTF

coach wa asleep at the wheel. Levi wasn't ready.

Poor kids...they know things ... poor us
