Other than Stocker (20yo), Walsh (20yo), Cottrell (21yo) we have a mature team named.

Of those named to be considered for the interchange I expect the following to be named:

Parks (20yo), DeKoning (21yo)

Maybe 23rd man:

Honey (20yo)

Hopefully we are stronger and tougher for longer, and I'm still shitting myself at the thought of Jones on Buddy.
I'm still scared from a couple years back when Buddy kicked 10 against an absolute air head of a defensive display, when Jones looked like he didn't want to go near Buddy.

They are the obvious choices. The only other sneaky one could be Honey for Cottrell or Fogarty, but I do not feel it will occur.

Indigenous round. I suspect Martin will bust a gut to play. And will play well (might come a cropper next week but should be good in his comeback match...)

Weitering is probably the man for Buddy but I suspect they'll start with Jones: If he goes well, great. If not, we have Weitering as back up. Might not work as well the other way around.

Having said that, I would think about neither of them - rather someone who can go with him up, down and on the ground more so than in the air, given he is not the biggest high mark of all time. Of course, not sure we have that sort of player atm. Maybe give Parks the job. Just a thought.

Totally could! The smaller ground could suit slower players like Setterfield too

There is no way Jones goes anywhere near buddy !!

Buddy would be laughing all the way to 1000 goals ...

Jack Martin is a crucial inclusion. We're struggling to get value for our inside 50's at the moment and with Harry carrying an injury, it will only get harder. TDK is a good second ruck but we cant rely on him to be a decent forward presence just yet. Martin has the all round ability to kick goals. In the air, off the deck and he's a beautiful kick inside 50. Then it's up to our small forwards to do the job. We need a big game from Eddie on Sir Doug Nicholls round.
The Swans haven't lost to an interstate side at the SCG this year so our work will be cut out for us but if we can kick straight, we're a decent chance.

Murph could of been dropped basically after any other game but this is after he played a very good half v Hawks.

I’m assuming he will be 23rd man to get him closer to 300.

Maybe this is a sign Teague really was pissed at half time last week.

Stocker is obviously the 7th defender which is OK. Though I'm surprised Parks wasn't bought in so Doc could continue playing up the ground.
The Casboult, Harry, TDK rotation will be interesting. We're too tall up forward with all 3 for extended periods so I'd rather see TDK and Pittonet rotate mainly off the bench.

Plenty of other times the past couple of years where Murphy probably deserved to be dropped to 'make a statement' (although I assume he'll be the sub this week), yet they pick the week after he was actually pretty good :screwy:

Only guess I have is Teague pointed Murph out as one of the guys not pulling their weight when he got angry at half time last week. Sure he got a response, but should it really take that?

I think potential for late changes here, so even if Murph ends up playing in the 22 he plays like he has a point to prove.

I can't understand why we pick Casboult again. He offers nothing to our side. TDK last week showed us where our future is. Murph will not want to get to 300 by being a medi-sub. That would be a hollow way to get there.

Yes, don't see the point of picking injured players. His knee is bad, he can't perform, no need to pick him.

Interesting that they mentioned on the website that Casboult can play back if needs be.
