We are 1 and 17 against this mob in recent years

And only beaten them 4 times this century...

Something to contemplate as to what does club stands for ??

Umm, they’ve also won 4 premierships in that time and we’ve been languishing at the bottom for much of it. That score line is not exactly surprising. A more relevant stat for us to contemplate as we drive for something to stand for is 3-6.

They drafted well , developed well and that is the difference to their success and my score line is better because we Have had ample chances to build a list and we stuffed it completely

If they drafted well and developed well then why are they sitting near the bottom of the ladder? Hodge, Lewis, Roughead, Mitchell left the club five years ago surely they would have drafted and developed well in that time frame?

Their successful era was based on great development and great recruitment, so
You you agree with that ???

And it’s more of a indictment on our club , that we can’t beat them after there era finished

That’s my whole point

Eg I think Murphy has maybe played in one win against the hawks his whole career ...

And Jordan Lewis the only loss against us would of been when he was at Melbourne !!

To put In perspective for you

I am looking forward to sitting in my own seat again this week.
It will be good to catch up with those who sit around me and have done for many years.
I was surprised at how easy it was to download my ticket onto my phone from the Carlton app.
Good weather forecast too.
What could possibly go wrong?

That's a pretty handy trio. Bit nervous about Saturday

Yup this game will be a real slog , keep the fingers crossed that the boys put in a solid 4 quarter effort , otherwise it may slip away again , in the last stanza.

We just don't beat them. Hawks by 22.

Wingard can be damaging as well.

Yes. You need to download it to access your seats.

And Impey.
Their midfield matches up well with ours.

Yes, there are generational stars on every line!
And they have a master coach!
I think we should just tremble and panic. And give up.

And we complain about our boys' mental fragility.
Harden the fk up.
We are much better than the Hawks and will win strongly and going away with it.

Just posted this in Players thread

Quote:
About time he continued his development in the seniors.

He has impressed every game he's played in.

He had just turned 19yo in 2018 when he played vs Doggies and kicked his first goal.

He didn't star but point is he survived with his skinny body back then, he sure can survive a recall of a body with 2 more preseasons under his belt and a huge block of work this year when injured with back stress that lasted for 1 day.

Its time for the King.

Levi is a liability....and McEvoy will feast on Pitto.

We need to play fit players.
