Didn't realise "prior" meant having time to look around and ponder your options.

Just be a leader Patrick & take time out to get your body right. Give a kid a chance.

Seriously had an absolute shocker today

So Murphy’s is holding the ball but Harry’s tackle on Hunt isn’t?

Who did we take ahead of Pickett?

Keep in mind he's playing in a functional side. Was also kept totally quiet first 2/3 of this game. Might not look much good in a Carlton jumper. Exciting talent though, defo.

I think we traded down to get Kemp and Philp maybe? Could be wrong though

Yeah I was right. We traded pick 11 to Gold Coast for picks 17 and 20.

Pickett was taken with pick 12.

Not saying this wasn’t a good move btw. Time will tell. Perhaps Kemp and Philp will turn out to be stars. I was hoping for Pickett going into the draft though

Ouch. Don't worry, one day we'll recruit a guy with reconstructed knees and he'll be that one in a million who still becomes a star!

Would you prefer we got thrashed?

We’ve gone backwards since the end of 2019

Only if it led to meaningful change. Probably wouldn't, so I guess my answer is a half-hearted no.
