Seems pretty obvious Williams doesn’t have the fitness base to come straight in to the lineup and needs to come back via VFL.

We'll be very good for best part of 3 quarters and when Melbourne apply the heat, we'll raise the white cos it's all too hard and ultimately lose.

You saved me a post.

Need the best runners to enable us to play longer.

In Newman -out Newnes
In Murphy out Gibbons
In Setterfield Out JSOS.
In anyone Out Levi

Newman back stocker to Newnes roll.

Setterfield to midfield send Cripps forward in JSOS roll and leave him there.
Don't care how many points he kicks he will demand a defender

We are going to get smashed in the ruck so why take in Levi .

No hope in this one. Hoping to be pleasantly surprised but our one competitive advantage in Harry will not be able to beat both May and Lever.

One / both will have a field day with their intercepts.

Would TDK forward help? Either way the games won in the midfield and sadly where we are lacking!

Had the Bulldogs and let is slip away they were more clean in the end. Dont have any out of form players and other than their rucks they have fielded their best team more or less discounting peripheries.

Did better than expected tbh. Hope Melbourne don't blow us out of the water as our ruck situation is beyond a joke. Game plan needs tweaking... moving the ball beautifully when we have it but can probably compromise ball movement a little bit but need Cripps and Williams to start playing close to their best. Otherwise have no choice as attack is the best form of defence have a feeling if we dont put 2nd thoughts in the opponents heads with score board pressure will be getting blown away.
Feel its a delicate balancing act as our mids not up to standard at moment.

Parko came back 91, and we were pretty crap in 91, only won 8 games, probably not much different to what the side is like now actually.

From my experience this is one we'll win.

The boys will respond, stop the streak of the dees, move nowhere on the ladder, then when all seems to be about to take off get pummeled by the swans and remain in 14th position, 3 games out of the 8.....

But what a win it will be

definitely, watch Teague make a statement at selection too!

Correct Adam....that's what made it such a great upset. We were terrible in 91

I actually think we can win this one
I would tag Oliver with Ed
TDK to go with Gawn
Melbourne were not great against Sydney

I agree. They were very good but not totally daunting

Need to bring in TDK because Gawn will shit all over Pitto

They’ve tried Cripps as decoy fwd multiple times in the last two years and it fails every time, how good was he in the last on Sunday when they sent him to replace Silvagni? Pittonet would be better as at least he’s fit.

Cripps, Casboult, Williams, Saad, none should be playing as all are injured and cannot perform any effective roles.

No doubt our captains have already been sent the “we will respond this week” word doc (unless they have it in their ‘recent files’ folder) in preparation for any interviews this week.
