We paid to get Zac Williams he wanted to be a mid, if he’s fit and playing; time to give some output to match.
Honestly think this could be a little ugly today, the team is treacle slow and H has zero support, a few showers probably wouldn’t hurt. If we don’t tidy up the kick into F50 expect a humbling largely absent since Bolton left.

I've got no problem with Newnes & Gibbo out. Fight hard in the 2s & you are a good chance to get back in.

Still would've liked to see Honey or Kennedy in to take the SOS/Mcgovern third tall role. Although as BV said maybe they'll give it to Cripps.

Truly staggering how close minded you lot are when it comes to Pittonet.

Is your contention that he’s an awesome ruck or that he’s only good as backup? Hard to say from this comment….

I hope they hide Cripps in the forward line where he will be least exposed and push Stocker and Setterfield onto the ball.

Are we trying to ruin Dow and SPS? How are we giving them any chance to develop. Flip flopping between the stupid sub role, dropping them when there’s no VFL game on. They both showed a bit in their last meaningful time on ground (Essendon*** game) and haven’t been given a chance since

What on earth are the selectors thinking.
Season on the line and they do this.
How are we expected to win without Dow in the midfield racking up 15 disposals and SPS line breaking penetrating kicks

At least they've brought in Murphy for his high flying marks.

I'm actually not as daunted by this game as I was the Dogs.

I've already penciled in this game as a loss... can't hurt me today

I think they are not playing Dow and SPS because they have already marked them in the trade column at the end of year. Not that I think they should be. Can’t believe Murphy walks straight back into the side and these two have no game this weekend. This game has train wreck written all over it . Hope I am wrong .

Incredibly short sighted. It's about development. I have no issue with them being dropped to the 2s for a month to work on their game in their natural position, midfield. I take issue with the club stagnating their development by putting them as sub, then dropping them after having no opportunity to play, particularly when the reserves don't have a game.

How can SPS earn his spot when he's given 15 minutes on the ground last week, then no reserves game to stake his claim this week? All after playing very well in his half a game against Essendon*? He will have effectively played half a game of football in a month. Is that how you develop your prized top 10 draft pick? It's lunacy.

Why is Dow picked against Essendon*, then dropped after have 4 clearances in just over a quarter before getting injured? Why does Murphy come straight back in ahead of these guys?

We have invested a lot into these guys and I don't feel we are giving them the best chance to succeed. The sub role should to mature age fringe players. Our youngsters need games to develop, be it in the seniors or reserves.

Yeah great, let's tank their value before we trade them for a 4th rounder.

We're a rabble

Stocker looks like he's rolling through the midfield.
