He well and truly deserves a game next week IMHO. With regard to our chances this week, I think we're a real chance to win. Unfortunately we're also just as likely to lose to Hawthorn and the Kangaroos. And I think that’s a big part of the reason our percentage is so crap - even more so than allowing teams to kick scores against us given that we have not once been smashed in a loss. BUT, we also never seem to win big either. It’s like we play to the level of our opposition. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk We are 3-5 with a percentage of 95, seems fairly normal to me, if anything you’d expect a lower percentage with that win loss record. Agree. That's pretty good and indicative of where we are at, with "Teague's Gift" and all sundries. WE really should've/ could've been 5-3 and 105%. |

For me, Dow, TDK and Newman in. Cuningham to the wing. He's too inconsistent to play in the centre square. His midfield craft is poor and once again, his opponent wins too many centre clearances while Cunners ball watches. He had plenty of centre square attendances last week without a stoppage to his credit. Put him on the wing and drop Cottrell. Cuningham can use his pace and skill on the outside of the contest. Newman to Half back, Stocker and Dow into the midfield/forward/bench rotation. Levi and Cripps rested, JSOS injured, Cottrell the medical sub. |

Newman nimble enough? Doc tight enough? |

I feel Fogarty has run out of petrol tickets. He wasn't very good last week imo. I would have thought he would take Daniel, but Owies was given that task. Maybe because the MC saw more value in letting Fogarty do his thing...which was 6 kicks for 2 behinds 7 HBs (50% DEF) and 1 tackle. Really disappointed in him and the other midget Gibbons. Previous week vs Effendrugs* 9 kicks 2 goals 5 HB 1 tackle (70%DEF). I liked the 2 goals but wasn't happy with defensive pressure |

In TDK out Pitto In Charlie out Levi In Martin out Cottrell In Fisher out Gibbons In Marchbank out Plowman In SPS out Newnes/Fogarty and maybe we'd have a chance! |

Typically, Hawthorn loses to the Kangaroos and will get smashed in the media all week, lift for a big performance against us next week and then not play another good match for the rest of the year (Exhibit A: Collingwood) |

Don’t normally get too fussed with team selection but I’m staggered TDK is not in. Shudder to think what Gawn will do to Pitto and Levi tomorrow. |

The frustrating thing about TDK not playing is it sets him back a few weeks. No VFL this week to build. Will then presumably have to play VFL next week so another week not in the seniors. It’s not as if Levi and Pitto are giving us anything |

Agree re TDK Pitto and Levi have both been poor over 9 rounds we need to get games into TDK he is the future and we need now to look to the future after underperforming in the first 8 rounds |

Fully agree Pittonet & Casboult are the worst rucking combination in the AFL Both have performed poorly all year We have been smashed in centre clearances all year Good chance Petracca & Oliver will have a field day tomorrow |

Gibbons and Newnes omitted is a big plus their defensive game past few weeks has been abysmal and didnt offer much going forward |

So, our medical sub comes from one of the emergencies? I.e. Newnes, TDK, Gibbons or Honey? |

I mean, I really just don't get what they see if they play setterfield on the wing. Feel bad for him. Dogs don't play Caleb Daniel in the ruck. |
