The roar when cripps kicked that goal made the hours of anxiety worth it

Attended the game. Very even performance and super impressed with the energy the young boys bring.

Walsh is proof that the 3-2-1 voting system is inherently flawed. Should be 5 best players scaled from 10 to 1.
He’s polled 8, 9, or 10 votes in every game so far and I’d give him a solid 9 again today.

Saw a few things from the usual suspects that I could criticize but let’s just ENJOY.

Dow going off actually unsettled us, he’d won 4 clearances in the first 15 mins, so, to steady and then pull away made the win even more meritorious.

First time we have used Saad for the weapon he is today. Hope to see more of it.

Collingwood don’t look like a top four type team to me.*

Can it be categorically be proven that the booing of Saad was due to his leaving Essendon* to join Carlton?

Pay Walsh 10 times more than he gets now.

He is quite unique.

Cuningham and SPS have all the tools to be A grade mids. We just have to keep giving them opportunity.
McKay is becoming a very reliable, consistent goal scorer.
Walsh is one of the best players in the league already and would be in brownlow contention if we were winning more games. I'd give him all 6 votes today.

I don't think Pitto or Cottrell are top 8 team standard and I think Levi is fully cooked.
I'd be bringing TDK in asap. We'll probably have to persist with one of Levi or Pitto until Charlie or McDonald are back.
Cottrell will be replaced when Fisher and Martin are back.
Silvagni to replace McGovern if he's out with the hammy

Always great to beat this mob.
Great to see Eddie saved 3 of the goals he missed last week and used them this week.
Walsh ....... yeah WALSH
Interesting to note that the Bombres have lost to Fantasia, Daniher and Saad

Good game and an even better win.
Just wish we didn't let them back in for a sniff at the end.
Nonetheless, good solid win.
Also wish Dow had played a full game, he was starting to get a bit of the pill before he went off.
SPS shouldn't have been dropped and should always start in the middle/fwd from now on.
Parks is a good pick up too.

Lovely note Teddy. Enjoy the afternoon with the family after a good win. I must confess I had childhood flashback of Neal Daniher kicking 5 in the last five mins of a game so I take nothing for granted against this mob

Ouch let’s not talk about that game , it’s was one my earliest memories of going to princess Park with a packed ground ... ahh those were great days

That was the best wooden spoon Carlton ever one !!

Walsh is a absolute freak

That run in last qtr on the wing and he gave it off and kept running again to mark it contested on 50 metres was unbelievable

No matter how apathetic I get I’ll never not enjoy watching the drug cheats E A big bag of D

Two moments summed tonight up for me and showed me that something had changed.

1) Parks rubbing that little smartarse’s face into the ground.
2) Owies post-goal reaction from the 50 and the boys actually backing him up when the sniper tried to go him.

Amazing what happens when you actually stand up for yourself and show these cauliflower you won’t be pushed around. They may just topple.
