Nice to kick straight for a change. At half time I was cursing Levi, Gibbons, Newnes, Cottrell and Stocker but they all lifted in the 2nd half.

Good games by Cunningham, SPS and Stocker (6 tackles in defence).

Makes it hard to drop Owies if Murphy wants to come back in, Gibbons might be in trouble.

Daughter come over in 3rd quarter for a visit when we were up by a couple of goal and was hopeful for a win.

Battle weary me countered with, confident of a loss.

Was I wrong

I only saw from about 5 mins into the 3rd,so for me it was a fine performance with good aggression, reliable goal kicking and umpires who gave us the rub of the green.

And no, I wasn't doing drugs during the first half!

Incredible. I'm gonna pour a glass of red once the kids are down, and feel good about the world.

How long has it been since both sides have kicked 100 in a game.

Tough mark (and goal) when getting smashed, goal saving tackle... not Murphy staples, I have to admit.

Lovely note Teddy. Enjoy the afternoon with the family after a good win. I must confess I had childhood flashback of Neal Daniher kicking 5 in the last five mins of a game so I take nothing for granted against this mob

Was it McGovern who was playing on Ridley? I've never been a fan but if he shut that bloke down, plus did what he did up forward that's a pretty good day at the office.

Aneurysm averted...

Walsh for PM
Saad excellent

We kicked 19 goals but conceded 16... didn't think we'd win a shootout and was hoping the coaches had plan for it, but a very pleasing win.

...and you could feel the oxygen getting sucked out of the commentary box when Cripps nailed one from 50...
