Is Williams made of paper. Or carrying an injury.
Geez the whipping boy Samo copes it. Far from our worst.

So three in and four out?

Even our maths is rubbish! :banghead:

One was the medical sub. They don’t name those until game day

Interesting changes. Three of our better ball users out....

In: P.Dow, M.Owies, L.Parks
Out: M.Murphy (neck), Z.Williams (soreness), M.Kennedy (omitted), S.Petrevski-Seton (omitted)

One of the omitted will be emergency sub.

Good luck to Owies and Parks good to see Owies get his chance. Not sure what Dow has done to justify his spot on recent form but interested to see how he goes.

So Owies for Murphy's role?

SPS is a bit stiff, one week in his preferred position and dropped.

As I read the article on the AFL site Kennedy is still in the 25. Since they haven't put up the actual teamsheet (which is bulldust) one cant say further.

Not exactly like for like changes. Three runners out, effectively one forward one mid and one back as they have been played recently, replaced by 2 runners and a third tall type. Owies is more exclusively a forward than any of the outs, and Parks more a defendar and a different type of player entirely.

Not sure I get the shift of the balance away from run this week, although I guess you have to question what other runner was available to bring in apart from maybe O'Brien (who I wouldn't be promoting yet )or Ramsay who has been doing well.

Meanwhile the Carlton site has an article "facts you may not know: Carlton v Essendon*" - well here is a fact I definitely don't know about the game - the effin team as set out on the teamsheet. I know that named positions are a bit of a joke anyway but at least give us the lineup, you've announced the changes. Jeesh!

Dow lucky to be recalled IMO. He needs to start finding the footy and applying defensive pressure.
So we will have Owies, Betts and Gibbons in the forward line?

Looking forward to seeing how Owies goes.

Hate being that person who called Williams injury prone when we were looking to sign him. Hope in time I'm proved wrong. After all, we have "the greatest fitness conditioning guy of all time". Beginning to think he's a worse plant than Malthouse.

I hope they know what they're doing but some weird stuff there. Gibbo very very lucky.
Thought Setterfield was BOG in the VFL last week.
Still no Silvagni .... better chance of winning when he's around.
