Almost worse that we produce such shit and continually just lose by a few goals. Feels like such as waste. If only we actually put in.

That 2nd qtr stunk after an excellent start. WTF was it.

Walsh is legit twice as good as any other player on the list. It’s like he’s playing with the reserves team. Different class

We don’t deserve him

For those who think that our poor form could simply be due to lack of effort and desire. Think again.

This club has a multitude of problems that a change in coach won’t fix.

I keep hearing we have sufficient talent on our list and should be better. I am not convinced this is the case.

Correct, one of our sins of the rebuild has been giving SOS unfettered power and we know now he has no eye for recruiting midfielders

Say what you want about Murph, but he almost always kicked the Captain’s Goals when it was his turn and he’s still doing it now from the scrapheap

Haha now that’s funny

He had 2 possession and a goal close to half time

And what were down by 4 goals

But you hang in there with Murphy , you will be happy his 300th is just around the corner

We really don’t. And he deserves so much better than us. Forget all the hype over Cripps’ contract. Walsh is the one I’d be worried about

Controversial but think I'd pretty much rather anyone else than betts. In the forward pocket. Gawn. Park shitboult or marc murphy for better value. And shitboult is pretty shit.

We’ve managed to kill Cripps, so d take what value we can get for him while we can and run.

We are a footy club that has seriously lost its way. Very sad.

Eddie is cooked, 100% but we believed recruiting small forwards was for losers , so here we are

Im very happy with the way the boys played. The only part of the game that let us down was efficiency inside forward 50. Unfortunately for us it wasn't a game where players like Betts and Gibbons played sub VFL level. Other than that - I thought we played well and Brisbane should feel relieved they got away with that one.

Very disappointing performance. That 2nd quarter was our worst effort of the year so far, by some margin. Awful.

Well done to Walsh, Weitering, Jones, Doc & E.Curnow.

Betts shouldn’t retire, he should go down to the reserves and work his backside off to get back in the team. If he is unwilling or unable to do that, well, then he should hang up the boots. He committed to playing in 2021, so I would be disappointed if he chucked in the towel after 6 rounds.

If playing Stocker in defence allows us to release SPS, then I’m all for persisting with it for another week. But I’m really not sold on Stocker. I watched him closely today - I’m worried he’s a lazy footballer. The problem is that, until Newman is fit, there’s really nobody in reserve to take that spot. Willo has had plenty of chances IMO.

Saad & Williams need to lift. Both look lacking in confidence and/or carrying injuries to me.

Exactly a replica of our round 17 game last year. Won 3 qtrs but lost due to a putrid 2nd qtr.

Pittonet and Cottrell aren't up to the standard.
Casboult and Eddie are well past it.
Gibbons has been decent this season but couldn't get near it tonight.
Our bottom 6 or so still really hurting us.
If we had no injuries we'd be okay... maybe
TDK for Pitto
Charlie for Casboult
Fisher for Eddie
Martin for Cottrell
Silvagni for someone
One can dream

Its not like for like granted but you've got marlin picket doing cartwheels in a gf. And Stockholm syndrome kicking own goals. Hysterics aside id agree persisting with Stockholm for the time being.

We played with intensity and intent required of a top eight side - we were within 12 points in the last and where we needed our seniors to step up in the forward line they didnt.

Betts choked, McGovern couldnt get near it, don't know what Gibbons was doing, Fogarty put in his worse game of the year and Brisbanes backline isnt much chop. Unlucky not to win it but intensity and intent was good. This must be our baseline.
