How we believe Plowman is an effective defender against small forwards is beyond comprehension.

As a defender Plowman is ineffectual against smalls and talls.

I don't base decisions on stats.
BUT since you mentioned them what about his 4 tackles in 5 games of footy.
How about his team HIGH 24 yes 24 turnovers and his 18 clangers for the season so far???

Everyone kills Plowman including myself but let's compare.
Plowman has 9 turnovers and 5 clangers for the year to date.

I love Docherty but he is clearly our worst defensive player ATM.
Why is he immune from being dropped to find form??
That's the whole problem BB with this club.
We are a soft football club and senior players are somehow immune from being dropped.
The tail is wagging the dog once again at this club and then everyone wonders why our kids aren't developing.
How can you develop in our current environment???
What's the point of busting your gut as a young player to break into the team and get an opportunity then be the first player dropped for having a poor game yet we have senior players that have been playing poorly and just cruising around all year and last season without any selection consequences.

The bulldogs are 6-0
Mitch Wallis is their Vice Captain and is playing reserves !!!!
