Dow back into the 22? Not a great decision IMHO

I don't think so. He could be sub (or Kennedy).

Having him as sub 2 weeks in a row would be even worse.

Absolutely. It’s like we’re determined to kill the kid. Cannot fathom the logic behind making him sub last week. Worst thing we could have done for him

this game will be a slog, Blues will come out firing and it will get close at times given the hype this week one expects it , however reckon Lions have superior personal on the park this week.
Once the pressure abates, and a game opens up a little, it could turn nasty.

Scoreboard, unlike general play, rarely turns nasty these days. Only lost twice by over 5 goals since Teague took over (at very odd times junk goals helped but still...), despite some shockers so it's unlikely we'll get trampled. Means when Carlton turn up motivated they generally win as a few goals isn't that much to improve on. The issue being turning up motivated more than 2 weeks weeks in a row.

Good. Glad Cunners is in. I would have been annoyed if Stocker was the only change. We weren't good enough to have only one change. I really hope they give SPS and Cuningham significant minutes in the midfield.

Woo hoo shows Teague has no balls and Murphy the undroppable continues to March his 300th

So tomorrow we play the lions with their best 22 against our best 21

Go baggers

Murphy bashing a little bit over the top he's been a good player for the club

Rising Star nominee: Round 1, 2006
All-Australian: 2011
AFLCA Player of the Year: 2011
Pre-season premiership: 2007
AFLPA Best First-Year Player: 2006
International Rules Series: 2008
John Nicholls Medallist: 2011, 2017
John Nicholls Medal runner-up: 2008, 2009, 2014, 2015
Carlton Captain: 2013-2018
Carlton Best First-Year Player: 2006
Inner Blue Ruthless Award: 2014

I'd love to win a John Nicholls medal let alone two of them, but I know I'm not good enough

Nobody is doubting what he's done. His days are done. Long gone. Him.playing each week is indicative of where we're at.

Not really still has output - not much out there to replace him with maybe with Martin back soon his spot will be under pressure but at the moment unlikely.

I agree Walsh has been a very good player over the years but is very close he and Eddie to not playing again in my view -output in a struggling team isn’t good enough
Time doesn’t stand still time is up for both in my view

I think his output is still above average than what anyone else on the list can offer thats splitting defences apart with a footpass. He needs to do better like most on team but the teams predicament isn't Murphy's fault and there is no one on the list that has the ability to replace his raw talent/decision making at the moment.

He can't defend, his opponents would be licking their lips every week

Of course but others that could can't kick. What to do? Replace a club champion with someone that can't kick? Not gonna happen.

Please stop saying for Murphy and sps to be dropped ...

We need Murphy for his no leadership, no pressure , losing culture mentality and we need sps for his 12.5
Metres passes , we have no one on the reserves to replace 2 keys players like that

SERIOUSLY ? Murphy I have loved since his debut, bottom line he’s quieter than Humphrey , SPS @ 80 odd games has show SFA ...time to see if Dow, LOB, Stocker, Cunningham have anything to offer. I am so over the BS , we have been mediocre at best, Plowman OMG do reply cheerleaders with why he’s in, Marchbank another that truly has not given SFA in his games thus far, Setterfield is a cat a yet to see much in the way of a breakout game from him. Honesty cheerleaders we have little choice but to blood our youth as what we’ve been playing for the past 5 years is not doing much at all.

Good ins, reasonable outs. I'd rather Kennedy was given another week but so be it.
Ed to Neale and Gibbons to play a defensive role on Rich.
