Can't think of a single positive.

More scoring shots, 10 more forward 50 entries, lost by 28 points.

If only they wanted it badly enough. That's the most frustrating.

We looked old & slow.

We have so many players ex other clubs, must be a league high

I haven’t watched the second half yet. Should I?

Punch yourself in your genitalia for an hour. You’ll get more from it

Walsh... that's it

The signs have been there all year, even in our wins, but Port effortlessly exposed us for the imposters that we are. Our skill level, game plan and overall quality of our playing list is not top 8 material.

We can't seem to stay motivated for more than 2 games in a row. Been an issue all century.

Unless you want it badly enough it doesn't matter who is in on your list, you are always middle of the road.

Port play for premierships, Carlton play for paychecks. motivation comes from within so it's a tough one for a coach to change. That one is up to the players. Ratts is learning that at St.Kilda too.

“Wanting it” doesn’t make you kick straight. Only skill does and we don’t have it. If “wanting it” made the difference then we would have a chance and we could turn this around. But when you don’t have the skills then there is no hope. The most obvious example is Cripps. He wants it badly. He just doesn’t have any fundamental kicking skills so he wastes the shot on goal in the first when momentum was ours and the ball bounces up the other end for a goal and momentum shifts with it. Rinse and repeat all night.

Like masterbating with a cheese grater, slightly amusing but mostly painful!

Think pies game effort and suns game skills combined

You might be surprised. Switch on and for some reason skills suddenly improve. Ball often goes a bit straighter when you are better focussed on the job. Less of those easy shots are missed.

Our skill execution is deplorable. There continues to be no obvious plan to improve the connection between our midfield and forward line. Our backline was laughable tonite and there was nothing done to change it up. That and many other areas of what the players dished up is on Teague and co. Yes the players should own alot of the responsibility especially in regards to skill execution but they look lost to me. That's on the leadership group but also on the coaches and it's like a scratched record because we see it over and over and over again. Another unacceptable performance and loss.

Just glad a true club champion is going to get carried to 300.

Newnes, Fogerty, Jones, Saad, all regularly in our best this year so I’m not sure the ex’s are the problem.

Port too good. Killed us in uncontested possessions. A 5 goal margin was about right in the end.

We are still a long way off the better sides, but I didn’t think it was all doom and gloom.

What I will say is that I hope Newman & Parks are back soon because Willo & SPS are not defenders. It’s wing or bust for Willo and SPS must play mid/forward. The rest of our defence was OK, but those 2 were obvious weak links back there, IMO.

Better showing by Casboult. Still not at his best, but we may not see his best again.

Respectfully disagree.

Wanting it gets you to better positions, makes you run harder. Wanting it has you spending the extra time to fix your deficiencies, it puts the opposition under pressure through manic pressure.

Carlton play for money, they don’t give a shit

Would Eddie really be happy to get to 300 when his team mates are playing horrible footy and he had had limited impact in a season which must result in finals footy but is nowhere near looking even close?

I thought the 2nd quarter was the worst. The 1st & 3rd quarters were more frustrating than bad and we won the last quarter.
