So pro’s for a change.

Harry. He can kick. The yips has been all in his head.
Martin. Out and out class. Absolute gun.
Gibbons. Just constantly finds goals. Becoming a very valuable small forward.
Fish. Feels like he’s been involved in almost everything good we’ve done.
Saad. Top handful of players at the club already. He’s even better than I gave him credit for. One of the best small defenders in the league.
Walsh starting to turn the tide in the midfield but got a long way to go.

That’s about it really

It sometimes feels like for every top player we bring in, an existing player drops his level to compensate.

I don’t think Martin has.

Nor do I see any signs of that from Saad or Williams.

Just imagine us without them though…

The fact that SPS continues to get games, might suggest we have the weakest depth in the league.

Or the most incompetent match committee.

Not sure setters is a winger. He can’t run.
Would he not be better under the contest?

This is an obvious change for mine. Getting killed in the contest and not tackling. Setters is probably the best tackler in the team when playing inside. Get him in there, give Ed a spell

Lachie Plowman has been given a bath by the entire Collingwood forward line. Doesn't matter who he's on, it rains goals.

Hope we can do a Hawthorn and turn it around. Hard to see though. Bring on the Gold Coast!

I didn't mean Martin, he's class. Thinking more of, say, Setters playing shit now Williams is here, or Doc playing shit alongside Saad. Too much swings and roundabouts, I want forward momentum!

Midfield getting smashed. Pendlebury, Adams, Crisp getting way more of it than Cripps, Walsh, Williams. Need to lift

Setterfield 3 handballs, Dow 6 disposals.

The midfield does not bat deep enough?

Cripps only 9 disposals.
Yet it's Plowman's fault.....

It's OK. We play offensive footy that's attractive to watch. Don't worry about winning.
You could drive a B double through the centre of the ground and not hit one of our players when the opposition win the ball.

Exactly. How is easy is the transition for Collingwood? Same for Richmond.

Yep. On the lead and at ground level. For that last goal he blazed away, kicked it out on the full than got pushed off the ball 20 seconds later. He is not at the races tonight.
Not sure we have many options though. In years gone bye you might throw him forward and see if he can create a contest inside F50 . He is bleeding goals down back so nothing to loose.

I once supported a club that was feared, admired and hated. Effort was never in question.
There is something wrong with this club and I’m @#$%&! sick of it.
