To be honest, I can't see us losing a game.

nah, really.... 12-14 wins please

I would see that as a pass.

Tough start to the year, even though we only travel once to GC.

Seems every year our entire season depends on the first few rounds.

If we are serious 3-3 after 6 should be the minimum position.

(Coll, Freo, Suns wins)

I know the Suns seem to start each season on fire but we still should be a better side.

A fairly tricky start but need to go 3-3 at a minimum. We can’t be chasing tail like every other year. Need to get ahead of the ledger early and hopefully stay there

Tough draw.............good...........it will show what we are made of..............tougher the better as far as I'm concerned....no good fart arising around in the shallow end.

Operation Smash Richmond has now been activated.

I think we should aim for 5-1 at worst.

I don't mind the draw. I think it is reasonable.
Collingwood, Gold Coast, Greater Western Sydney, Port Adelaide and Fremantle all twice is not to daunting

2 on the slide Pies and GWS
2 on the up Freo and GC
1 who knows which Port will turn up next year

Agree Sydney Blue, plus no eagles in perth, no lions at gabba and no trip to cattery. 17 games in MEL

Yep, plus from a quick glance it seems we're playing more games at the 'G than we have in recent memory, and our solitary games against WCE, Brisbane and Adelaide are all in Melbourne. The only interstate team we are exclusively "away" to is Sydney. I think I've got that right. Anyway, I think this is a very good draw for us.

The HUN reporting today that the home club gets to decide how many tickets will be allocated to the away team.
Only 27,500 seats available after the MCC, AFL members and corporates get their allocation.
They are saying they believe Carlton will only be allocated 1,000 seats.

What? That's insane. What's to stop the home team saying zero?

Very favourable draw. We must make finals. Now is the time. This is the year.

Just went over the H&A fixture as it stands.

I can't remember seeing a better draw for Carlton in the last 20 years.

Best fixtures were when we played each team twice: One Home and the other Away, with Blockbusters vs Coll, Effend* and Tiggers at the G.

2020 fixture of playing every team once was perfectly fair and equal.

Yeah but this is more evenly fair and equal because it favours Carlton :D

True ... moreso if every game was played at a neutral ground, or all at the G. 9 games over 7 days. Repeat.
