He’s played one good game at vfl level. Anything else is speculation.

Didnt look like it was a one off.

Like a mix of Carey, 2000 era Koutoufides, and a bit of G Ablett Sr x-factor

Should be OK. But he's no Brodie Kemp

I think his early games, unless they were praccy games (given VFL season started later than AFL), he showed a lot.

He came back from a long time out with injury, and his first game back some supporters wrote him off completely, which was grossly unfair not knowing his conditioning prior to selection.

Last week he got back tom the form he showed earlier: glides well, has a bit of C, beautiful foot pass, elusive...what is there not to like?

I hope his inability to run defensively, getting beaten at stoppages, inability to beat a hard tag, and play his bollocking best as he did 2 years ago isn't something we will be paying for in the next 6 years.

I don't think Freo, nor Eagles would be paying huge sums, let alone giving Cripps a 6 year deal based on the below average form he's shown for 2 years (2020 & 2021).

I hope we haven't thrown the kitchen sink at him, and, this contract will do the club more good than bad.

I haven't been impressed with Crippas leadership this year. Those beers for team bonding don't seem to be doing his leadership any good.

I hope he becomes a legend of the club and a Premiership captain.

Longer contract less money with big incentives such as AA, games played per year etc.

I hope so.

I know what he can do.
I'm just hoping he can do it again.

Its not out of the realms of possibility but good solid football and a strong aura a presence onfield is more than enough.

A very long deal for someone who gets smashed at stoppages week in week out.

"games played per year" bonus is not going to help with injury management

Yeah, I'm hoping for that, but that was 2 years ago: that's what scares me.

Not if the current trends continue, where the player calls the shots.

Teague stated, if Cripps puts his hand up, then he's right to go, and doesn't use injury as an excuse.

What if injury is the excuse for poor performance?

Newnes not sure he gives us much and much worse season than last
Murphy obviously will go
I think Eddie will as well
Subject to getting another midfielder and he keeps playing the way he is Kennedy gets another contract

Need to give Honey Ramsay Kemp and Carroll a go soon

Question is, have Honey and Ramsay been given new contracts. Both are showing talent this year.

Honey must have a great PR team, because he’s in no-man’s land as a footballer.

If three years is the maximum anyone can spend on a rookie contract, he’s at least got 12 months to find a role.

That's not a fair assessment. He's done well in the reserves for a month now....after being out with injury.

He's the aggressive HF we've been waiting for.

He's super quick and a good shot at goal including on the run.

Honey Curnow Martin
Gov McKay Owies

Add Philp on the wing and there's a great addition of speed to the team.

Murphy and Betts will retire come years end.

Owies, Durdin and Fisher fight for small forward, with fisher able to play midfield/ wing.
