Maybe, when the new Stadium lights are installed at Princes Park as part of the $35M reno, they also install Heat Lamps on the towers with Vitamin D3 dust released intermitently.

We must find a bleeding edge advantage.

If sunny weather was the secret, every club would be up there already.

FFS, they send blokes to Bavaria for animal parts.

By this rationale Gold Coast would also benefit...

Carlton's 2019 first-round pick Sam Philp ruled out for the rest of the year due to a groin injury. Terrible luck for the young Blue, who played two senior games last season. @AFLcomau

Does that give us another selection in the MSD?

Gov is good as gone wont be at full training for another two month ( early August)
Charlie is a big maybe not even training
OMac plenty of weeks away not even training.

I have no faith in our medicos

If we genuinely don’t think those guys are going to return this year, we should rule them out now so we can have the extra picks in the MSD.

It would have to. He's a bonafide Senior player.

I wonder if we take 3 new players on for 18 months.

Interesting to see what Austin does.

We still need to pay whoever we pick though.

I have no issue with them taking a conservative approach with a 19 year old kid in his second year.
I do wonder if they have someone in mind for the spot on the list, but then, on the other hand, if we take three players in the MSD as injury replacements it does create some headaches at the end of the year.

Martin back this week
Levi's knee rested (but Ive lost trust with fitness people)
Fisher back next week (probably in VFL)
Charlie back in a month or so
Gov follows. He's started running

Kemp is back playing

The only ones who will be missing (assuming no injuries) for rest of season is

Marchbank
Cuningham
Philp

Need to figure out what we need next year and for the remainder of this year.

Have to think Finals are a chance too.

CARLTON ruckman Marc Pittonet will be sidelined for an extended period of time after undergoing surgery on his ankle.

After the injury occurred on Saturday night, the Club sought specialist advice as to the appropriate course of treatment, with the decision made today that surgery would be the best approach for his rehabilitation.

The 25-year-old is a chance of returning to the field late in the season.

Pittonet had played all 13 games so far in 2021, including 26 in total since arriving at the Club at the end of 2019.

Carlton forwards Michael Gibbons and Zac Fisher have also been ruled out of Sunday’s clash against the Crows due to injury.

Despite closing in on a return this weekend, Gibbons re-injured his hamstring at training on Thursday. He was immediately sent for scans which confirmed a high-grade strain, with the Club to assess his availability for later in the season.

Fisher will miss one week after experiencing ankle soreness. While there was a chance early in the week he would be available, the decision was made to rule the 23-year-old out to ensure he fully recovered.

Another week and another player injured at training.
So glad we spent all that money on the fitness guru.
