I agree. A good thrashing would be sufficient.

You need to contact a local Mexican drug lord to assist.

They know their way around a good thrashing.....I watched Narcos, so I'm up with it all.

It isn't understandable to me after hearing that Russell has conditioned our boys to be highly competitive for the compressed part of the season.

All I've heard is excuses and what's to come this year.
TBH, the way we have finished reminds me how the "Do you know what the Blues are cooking campaign".

Really disappointing end to the season against Pies, GWS, Swans, Crows.
Nearly every player, and definetely every off field Player support staff (psychs, fitness, coaches) failed big time

If we lose against Lions, then I would say 2020 was nearly a disaster they way we ended the lastrd of the shortened season and how lucky we are we didn't have a 22 round season.

I love the way Terry goes about it, and enjoy new website and how it was always going to inevitably evolve, such is our thirst for content, despite that, I don't think he is consistent with his mantra.

Happy to promote anything and everything to all Carltonians. Good of you to help him out too. True Carltonian Donstuie.

Yeah, but wouldn't they be more inclined to go with my original...

Yikes, which I just went looking for to quote here but errr...ahhh.. Mod.Deleted?

It was intended in "metaphorical" terms guys.

Sheesh.

Yet I'm not the one talking about Mexican Drug Lords...

Hmmm. Like being 4th for Inside 50's we're 4th for overall quarters won.
Should be in finals with double-chance.

Now about those 4+ goal runs by opposition...

Shows how bad qtrs, not turning up to play etc, have killed us. We really should be in the finals with 10-11 wins. 5 times we conceded 5-7 goal leads in the first qtr and a half. Won one. Some games there totally pissed down the drain for no reason and totally unacceptable. The other games where we had runs on against us or choked it up in the last qtrs against thee Pies and GWS, while greatly frustrating, is a part of learning and development. Not acceptable but can be expected. At least we worked to put ourselves in the right position. To not turn up though in those 5 games, that shits me. How hard is it for well paid players to at least be ready to play when the ball is bounced. We are better than some of the sides above us but pissed gold-plated opportunities down the drain. Only way I can accept that in any form is if we learn and develop from it. Otherwise that bad culture has let us down again.

7 wins is about 9.25 wins in a normal season. Similar to Ratten's first year. Not a disaster from that point but pissing gold plated chances to make finals down the drain is. 8 is about 10.4.

COVID hurt us more than alot of sides. given where we come form we had alot to work on, especially that connect between the midfield and forward line. When you can only train with 8 at a time with fewer sessions there was no chance to sort that or work on ways to defend run ones. The season favored sides with highly entrenched game styles where everything is automatic. Given where we come from that certainly wasn't us.

Teague could have stopped the run ons that cost us against Collingwood, GWS and almost Geelong but he is a systems man and not a game day coach's arsehole.

That's it then.

We're never gonna win finals with him.

Sick n tired of us being out-coached on game day for 2 decades.

I hope he exits by the shortest means possible.

Individually. we were

9th 8-8 1st qtr 87%
10th 8-8 2nd qtr 87%
6th 9-6-1 3rd qtr 107%
3rd 11-5 last qtrs 104%

Greater 2nd half team, specially last qtrs, except when we choked.

Ladder positions for the each qtr, wins/losses for the qtr, and the percentage for the qtr.

Essentially a league ladder for each qtr.
