Interesting.... Still to be confirmed, I know.

I suspect Kennedy for Harry (a tall) and Fish, probably for Philp, unless there are injuries/tests we don't know about...

That's how I'd go though I wouldn't be overly surprised to see Moore come in

I hope so. "rested" "managed"

I would also hope so if Stocker or O'Brien were to replace him however they aren't in the squad :banghead: :banghead:

That's what I'm expecting.
Fish for Philp and Kennedy for Harry.

For a bit of grunt BV?...

It apparently will be wet too... And wet up there usually means Noah may gets selected... So perhaps it will be quite the shake up from the '3 tall forwards' game plan.

Go Blues

We drop McKay and keep McGovern. Good luck.

We need it... Particularly crashing a few forward packs.... Otherwise Eddie will starve!

Drop McKay and McGovern, then there’s finally room for Eddie to take his usual place at Centre Half Forward.

10-20 ml of rain forecast and particularly in the late afternoon and evening, so this is going to be like water polo. Kennedy and Fish are no brainers in those conditions. Harry would be next to useless, so he goes. Mitch stays as he will crash packs. Philp would be ok but others demand spots. Polson- yeah/nah. Moore- too many tatts suggests to me that he is a poor decision maker.

We’re back at Polson... great.

Disappointing that he’s still ahead of Stocker and O’Brien

If they are grooming Polson for a specific role, he shouls get selected for it.
If it's a random selection based on form on the track, it doesn't look good for the others.

IMO we need O'Brien's run. His problem is the same as Walsh's, though. The shorter quarters mean those with the extra tank have no advantage. This season is so fickle. List management is going to be a real issue going into next year. I hope the AFL is clear about the direction of the game because it changes the dynamic.

I expect Polson to be tried back pocket sometime soon. He has been developing in that role.
The shutdown defender role, is something we desperately need to fill long term.
Not only that, if he’s successful, then that releases SPS, Docherty and Simpson further up the ground into more attacking roles. Add Newton back there as well and you can see how crucial it is for us.
If the kid can’t hold down that role, it might be the end for him at CFC. I think he has shown that given time, he will develop.

...unless he has improved. If he has become a better option than Stocker and OBrien I guess that could be seen as good news - 1 more potential young good player?
Of course lets see what happens...

I think all our listed players will be rotated through the side for the rest of this * season given the circumstances. Same with other clubs.

Agree Rexy, especially with the threat of playing a lot of games in a very short time span after next weekend. If the short breaks (said to be as low as 4 days) occur, I wouldn’t expect any team to play the same 22 for consecutive weeks.

I'm actually not averse to giving Polson another crack at BP, especially if it releases SPS.

I can't believe I said that.

McG has elite talent but 7 touches a game is not enough. I don't know if it's fitness or between the ears but I'm sick of this guy. The MC need to show a pair in their selections soon.
