I'd leave Philp in, they've plenty of runners.

Fisher may still be short of a gallop.

Newnes under pressure, but thought he stood up in the last.

In Harry, out Jack
Maybe a runner for Newnes

Maybe Kennedy for JSOS based on reports last 2 weeks.

Let’s see if Harry gets up

Kennedy, Fisher, O’Brien, TDK all knocking on the door. Harry has to play if fit. Our structure looked shot to bits tonight compared to the Geelong game where it was incredibly efficient

Happier to be playing this game at the G rather than downtown Rocklands

Looks like Zak Jones might’ve done his hammy, he’s been in good form this year

Watch Saints tiggies game
They played very well
Keep Philp in
I would bring in Honey or Fisher
Need plenty of run against St Kilda

Surely Fisher over Honey. Can’t be trying to carry two kids just yet

Having Jack off was the issue. As Eddie said at quarter time, Jack was the player do the contest work while Levi was up the ground.
He's shown an increased ability to contest the high ball this year so he was sorely missed.
I'd bring in Kennedy. Apparently he's the best performed outside of the 22 and we need another midfielder IMHO. Plus he looks significantly fitter than I've seen him.
Jack stays in if fit and bring in Kennedy for Philp.

Philp stays in for me...the fact that he was nervous is fine... means he was in the contest

With poise, I reckon he couldve kicked a goal (maybe 2)...Those nerves wouldve washed away

In: Harry
Out: JSOS

Still think SPS is underutilised down back

Agree. I'm loathe to drop a first gamer unless they totally stink it up and look hopelessly out of their depth. That wasn't the case with Philp. Yes he looked nervous. Yes he fumbled at times. However he got himself in good positions and there were plenty of others who fumbled too. In fact Murph and Cunners probably the only two who handed it cleanly all night.

Only way he makes way is if fitness staff believe Zac is ready to come straight back in. Personally though I'd give him another run in a scratch match.

Not going to be easy, the Saints are in good form.
Jack out and Fisher in.

Harry for JSOS

If Fisher is fit, has to come in for Philp. He doesn't necessarily deserve omission but IMHO we simply must pick the best 22 available going forward. Fisher>Philp. Philp has had a taste and his time will come. If, however, Fish isn't ready to go, then leave him in.

Harry (if fit) and Fish are automatic selections. Fish did more than enough in the scratch match to come straight in. JSOS and someone to go out. I'd like to keep Philp in but Fish is 3 years of development ahead of him. You have to pick your best team. There is no doubt that Fisher offers a lot more at this point in time.

Harry in for SOJ should be the only change, IMO. If Harry isn’t available then Kennedy gets the nod.

TOG for Philp is money in the bank. If/when he gets those little fumbles out of his game he should be a good player for us. I would persist with him for at least another week.

Fisher (probably needs another run in the magoos), LOB & Honey should the next cabs off the rank if any of our running players are sore or lose form.

Still need one more. Why not Honey AND Fisher?

Let's not gift games, Philp has had a taste. Pick the best possible team, he isn't in it yet.

Newnes probably doesn't get picked in a perfect world either.
