Would have been nice if we turned up at the start of the game.

Much better second half which is pleasing

Not a bad result to be fair. No forward structure has killed us.

Take Lynch, Reiwoldt and Castagna our of Richmond and see how they go.

Plus our ruckman out in the first quarter.

Luke Hodge (I @#$%&! hate that mongrel) just nailed one of our biggest issues.

Too many players sucked into the contest.... then Richmond get it on the spread. We need to get smarter about our organisation around contests.

We’ve been doing it for years

Weitering best on, just ahead of J Martin and Cripps, and then probably Rioli.

Our inability to cut sides up on the outside kills us. Great with contested possession but on the outside, no good. Just doesn't allow us easy ball inside 50. Richmond's ability to waltz through the corridor and set up an easy goal was just about the complete difference.

Only positive I can find is that Kevin Bartlett was wrong by 66 points.

The saddest thing is that I feel we have progressed by not having him be skipper.

It's looking a little brighter now. It wasn't just showing a bit of fighting spirit, there was skill and composure too. If only we weren't carrying 5 or 6 players without skill or composure, we'd be good.

Martin looks a great acquisition. Will be fun when Eddie returns. Now hoping the season stays open.

And yet he is one of our better midfielders, saying he is crap is a crap statement

Lol.

Do the interview. Stand miles apart.

Interview finished. Walk over and be really close and have a laugh.

Oh shit. Camera is still on.

Oops.

Yep. It all seems pointless, sports wise knowing the season will get shut down.

Should have happened years ago.

Imagine how good we’ll be when he’s no longer playing!

I know there are people in here with good footy brains who take me up on this but it’s not a footy issue.

It’s a psychological issue.

When other players see him get picked week after week after week despite doing stupid shit and not putting his body on the line that’s going to kill your club culture.
