Reading the posts on Instagram of that whole group- Murphy, Gibbs, Walker, Fisher etc.

It reads like my sons' group of mates on Instagram. Except they're 16. These are men in their mid 30s married with kids. Genuinely concerning that they struggle with adulting like they do.

Players shit themselves, are too scarred to hold on to the ball, just get rid of it and pass it on to someone else. Clueless, lack of confidence. One example is Dow should have gone it for the ball, but put his hands out and left it for someone else to pick up. He just does not think highly of himself. I know its the players fault, but what do they talk about, what do they train. Teague is always saying they need to train and practice.

There is no accountability. No one cares. Why?

The midfield is not good enough...it's not an accountability issue its a talent issue - we were on the brink of coming last in 2019. Bookends have been repaired but that midfield and all the stats that go with it sit last and has for the past five years. Midfield needs more talent - to my mind it's that simple. Tom Mitchell, Matt Crouch as starters and get them in there.

Two years ago there were 3 care taker coaches.
Shaw, Teague and Ratten.
Shaw left after a year.
Teague is in trouble and Ratten is under pressure.

I have doubts about Teague as coach

I have doubts about the leadership of our senior players

What I don't doubt is the average quality of our list... always maintained that SOS built a mid-table list at best... and the proof is in the pudding

If he resigns and another coach performs similar manner without overhauling the midfield we will back to square one with an endless cycle.

I just don’t get that there is any other choice here
Players aren’t playing for him he has not got a sustainable game plan and we are winning as many games as when Bolton was coach
We can’t continue on with these performances they are soul destroying

Our players are pathetic
They quit on the coach every second or third year without fail
Has been that way for a while now
We need a senior coach who will not accept shit and weed out the weak players
Teague isn’t doing it
At this point I’m not even sure if anyone can turn the culture of this club around but it sure isn’t David who has had 24 months and no tangible improvement in mindset and culture

Someone please explain to me how every team we play can exit out of our F50 and get to their F50 without ANY pressure and we STILL allow a contested mark in their F50? What are we defending? Why haven’t we addressed this?

If all our issues are apparently due to our lack of midfield, as head coach, wouldn’t you prioritise having much more robust defensive structures that are actually AFL standard?

We have deep issues and it’s not all Teague’s fault but this has got untenable written all over it.
