all day long

Why didn't it change after quarter time?

Because the coach believed in his players and HIS game plan? What game plan?

Unfortunately, to the bloke that has had their back all year, the players have handed his head on a platter. Hope they are proud of themselves.

Inevitable that he will go now. Best we start looking before Collingwood get in. Whether the next coach gets anything out of this rotten lot is another matter. Bad cultures kill coaches.

Only thing Teague can say he did better than every coach here this century bar Ratten and at least kept us flicking with finals until late in the year for what it is worth (which I think is more frustrating). Much better than 4 wins from 43 games previous. The effort and achievement of the players though is something to behold and the coach will pay for that.

Doubt it is that. The players didn't care enough. The best game plan in the world looks awful if the players don't have a crack.

The common denominator with Bolton and Teague is SOS's list.

The players SOS selected, or should I say, some of the pea hearts SOS selected should be a lesson in itself.

I don't want nice entitled kids, from nice families who send their kids to Private schools with good football programs to play good football against kids from similar backgrounds: Simpson made me think of that.

I'm

Correct - the list is not good.

Good Back line and Forward line but f@cked every midfielder except Walsh.

What you see on the field is just a manifestation of the problem

The heart of the problem is in the dressing room

Selection integrity and a lack of clarity around shared team objectives, standards and accountability create the toxic culture which poisons the heads of our players

Their body actions on the field are a function of the mindset they leave the dressing rooms with

Teague and co. have much, much to answer for...after all, that is their portfolio!!!!!!

But lets keep blaming SOS, the rebuild, the midfield, the injuries blah blah f$^*^&&* blah

^What he said

Except I think this issue extends beyond the dressing room and that Teague is just a symptom.

Spot on.
He had a big chance to do something after our Rd2 embarrassing loss but stuck with Plowman, Murphy, Levi and Docherty. He instead Dropped 1 player Williamson.
I've said it time and time again that the lack of accountability on Senior players is disgraceful and the treatment of our younger players is embarrassing and pathetic from the coaches.
So now here we are with these insipid efforts and lack of leadership coz the senior players know they can do whatever they like on the field knowing they will not be dropped

The rebuild was never going to work when losing was an option

The messaging from the beginning was deplorable

MLG has been a disaster for this club

Although we are tracking well off the field, I doubt we will get 80,000 members next year and watch the wheels start falling off there as well.

Teague is not good enough but didn’t stand a chance at this club

GC strikes again.
Bottom 4 sides usually tank for draft picks at this time of year . We have lost to 2 off them in the last 3 weeks.

Teague won't survive this there are to many available coaches out there

Agree whole hearted except for him creating the culture.
He didn't create it, he sustained it.

Brought in Honey after it seemed he had no other choice left because of injuries.
Started our best mid and onre of the AAs you mention in the backline, what a hussle that was.
Played the leading coleman and another AA hopeful and our biggest scoring threat away from goal in a less dangerous position, taught them a lesson there again.
Surprised he started weitering instead of injury sub just to confuse them a bit more.
What else have you got.
