That is good.

Which means that he probably didn't deserve it. So much for earning your selection.

Jacksh is certainly being taught a lesson of Socratic proportions.

Good luck to Cunningham...hope he really shows some glimpses over the next 3 weeks

I had some feedback from the "inner sanctum" of the NB re Cunningham last week: "Talented? Yes. Ready for AFL now? No."

Playing two rucks ,two key forwards and barely fit Cuni could leave us short of run late in quarters.

Less run than we got from Walker last week? I doubt it

I thought the same Club29, on paper we look slow.

Glad to see Cunningham.

Jones is no slower than Walker and nobody is slower than Graham.

Happy to see Cunningham given a taste of senior footy.
12 months ago I didn't think I would ever say this but........it is good to see Jones back in the side.

Has worked hard to improve in most areas. Our record with him in this year is very good

I have watched and attended the last few VFL games and I don't think Cunningham is anywhere near AFL level.

I am also surprised that Rainbow Jojo or Jojo Rainbow has not been given ago. He is very skillful, deadly left foot and gets plenty of it.

Jones took some unreal contested marks last Week... Deserves the call up, however he has left it way too late. He is a goner...

As for our top pick in Harry Mckay, i been very disappointed with his return so far. He looked very slow and has no second efforts. He is way off being ready, I hope that he takes his time to develop over the years. Charlie Currnow looks ahead of him already!!

Hindsight but there were hints.....Josh Frasers last round assessment was positive & if I'm not mistaken Bolts may also have dropped Cunningham's name in the media.

Anyways good luck in your 1st game.

Beats me how you can attend vfl games and think rainbow is anywhere near AFL selection

Probably hasn't deserved promotion but why not give the kid a taste - a player who should be part of our future?
Selecting for the future. Can't argue with that.

I thought he might get picked after reading the VFL Coach's comments for the past few weeks. He has got better each week.
As distinct from DVR, Smith, Dick, Foster who haven't been doing much at all it seems.

Performing his role. Foster has had many good reviews this year from Fraser. Wouldn't surprise me if we kept him for another year on the rookie list.

Considering he missed about 10 weeks with stress fractures in his back, I'm amazed you thought he'd be anywhere near ready.
Stress fractures in your back are not like a shoulder of leg injury. If you have a bad shoulder, you can still do leg work. If you have a leg injury, you can still do upper body.
With a back you can't do anything. We won't get anything from Harry until next year. I'm just glad to see him back out there without a recurrence.

With Schache out, surely we should consider a rest for Weiters so we can have a look at KJ down back? I note he's an emergency.
