Yup. The TCGPM (Talking Carlton Goal Post Movers) are working double time tonight.

it's very pleasing to see how he accepts full responsibility for the players.

One more thing to consider in all this
Most of us had already given up on the club.. And this team
But I've fielded three calls from people angry and disgusted today.
These same people have had the same feelings all season.
So just relax.. You're in the cell with big bubba now... Drive fight it...

I wish it was only Richmond/Melbourne territory, but this is much much worse........ This is Fitzroy territory.

Did I mention big bubba has taken quite a fancy to us?

Still.. No use fighting now... It's only going to get worse ...

The Collingwood game was where I was finished and made the decision to not get a membership or go to anymore games as I can't see the point. I think many people are the same as me in that they went through the 2002-07 period and thought that we would never have to endure anything as bad ever again, we were very very wrong.

So after going through that before we now have no hope or expectation things will get better, as we know those in charge have no idea what they are doing.

Basically I won't get back on board as a member and regular attendee at games until the club is back in the hands of members not the fat cats who thing the club is theirs because they put money in.

Our finances.....

Beyond attendances being down, how are we bleeding cash?

You make it sound like we've ramped up expenditure despite not having an overseas trip to Denver or wherever for pre-season?

I agree we are in Melbourne/Richmond territory, Fitzroy territory is a different one as they had no supporter base left.

I mean we could get there, but that would require some effort.

No were not Fitzroy because they don't exist anymore.
Were pathetic Melbourne Richmond.
Think about Melbourne since the mid sixties and Richmond since the early eighties.
Just not too many highlights...
We're doomed to that kind of existence.
Some false dawns.. Half chances. But overall a pitiful existence

Funny thing is you're right.
We have no right to get emotionally involved. How does that even happen?

Actually that's a great reason to be emotionally involved: they are there to entertain, and they're not doing that, and the excuse is either they have horribly mismanaged the situation, or they're too stupid to provide adequate entertainment.

That's a great reason to be upset.

You're saying we have a break even crowd figure of well over 20,000 at a stadium of 55,000 capacity? That's not tenable... why would we sign such an agreement?
