He's already worse than Bolton.
At least Bolton had the excuse of a team composed of GWS rejects and 1st and 2nd year players.
Teague has added both A grade senior talent and top kids to already partially developed 3rd and 4th years, plus Walsh.
He also has McKay getting form.
And somehow he has also managed to kill off some of our top draft picks.
It boggles my mind as to how we can even consider keeping him for the rest of the season let alone next year.

Can you explain how Teague has managed to kill off our top draft picks?

I keep hearing this, but we've had question marks on those guys during the Bolton years.
Is it Teague, or is it a problem with development.

IIRC we applauded Teague picking teams to win and stop gifting games to the kids when they didn't deserve it.
The losses we have endured this year has some fans join the anti Carlton journos and turn on Teague, and he's been blamed for the failure of the highly prized draftees.

Was it SOS who got them wrong, Power who couldn't develop them, Russell who couldn't build them up, Covid affected VFL comp, or Teague for not playing them in the positions they were selected for, whether they were in form or not.

Its like Carlton getting blamed for Cripps breaking down. If Cripps can't handle the rigors of AFL he will break down. Some do. If Cripps wants to disregard his body when its crying out for a rest, when he can't run anymore, because he's a captain, its on Cripps, not Carlton imo.

Hey Bondi, I don't really recall the same question marks over these players during Bolton years, but they are defiantly there now.
Why do you think he has developed our youth? And who has he developed?

If you want to completely stuff up the morale of an organisation you use words like restructure rebuild reset or review . These words are the greatest disincentive to any employee.

We at Carlton use them as tag lines.

The review must get to the bottom on who was responsible for the decisions made to get Williams Saad Fogarty McGovern Martin

I agree. Much more productive exercise to spend time figuring out who to blame (I'll give you a tip, they will have already left) rather than identifying the best way forward.

Matthew Lloyd pretty much stuck up for his brother Brad Lloyd this morning on the footy show - they’ve got Teague in the gun.

If/when Teague goes, Lloyd’s position is untenable also

All of those players on big salaries are front runners and not the hard edged players required to lift this club from the doldrums

Again, we overrated our position thinking players like SPS, Dow, Fisher, Cunningham and Setterfield would complete the midfield set up and spring is into sustainable success. What a crock.

Hopefully, the review focuses on those non negotiables that each player should possess when recruiting and player development. Start with hardness at the ball.

Now we are in a situation where a large portion of the salary cap is invested in those players. For a number of years. Could set you back another 2 - 3 years to fix.

Is it true Sayers was there when they appointed Mick then Bolts than Teague? If so the review should look at his tenure also. Fish rots from the head

MLG should step down now and let Leo work towards his vision.

What's the Pavlich - Lloyd relationship like from the old Freo days? Were they buddies?
Still not sure if Cain Liddle is being reviewed? They say football dept but don't want this review to be a half-arsed attempt at trying to please supporters (for about a month).
The Board ??

He sounded emotional, like he is a Carlton supporter.

Sorry, Matthew Lloyd about Carlton or his brother? Is there a link? Be keen to see.

The entire board should be replaced. They've presided over the worst club in the comp for the last 2 decades.

Everyone associated with the club will be hurting right now.

But thats fine - we are not where we want to be and finding out deficiencies. We did well last year and almost played finals - this year is an epiphany moment and hopefully the club wakes up and finally does something with the talent in the middle. No ball butchers, better decision makers, ball hunters and mids that can actually get their hands on the ball.

I pretty much don’t care anymore- if we have to take it back to ground zero again so be it.

Because he backed the coach despite gradual but consistent declines in performances over 2 years.
