Recommendations:
1. Whatever the premiers are doing in 2024 we should be doing now
2. Lobby the AFL for retrospective drafting
3. This one is in a different color (I'm too lazy to do it)
4. Simon Wiggins was pretty @#$%&! good hey, maybe we should give him a ring, get him back round the boys
5. Shouldn't we just give BV a ring, he's the only one on here who actually gets modern footy.
6. Maybe put a Jewish stocktake through that new extension at Princes Park?
7. Is the rollercoaster still an option?
8. I know he's a meme, but maybe give the Scott brother who used to coach Norf a call

Nice Heavs.

But BV would totally exceed the soft cap I'm afraid...

So the review is being driven by our poor onfield performance according to our Prez. Yet the coach isn't part of the review? What's the point then?

I have a feeling there is already a pre determined outcome to all this ,

Let’s just wait and see

You could well be right. For the record, I am in the Teague should go camp and Ross is my first preference.
However, if the review determines Teague is the man and it is a proper and thorough review I'll accept that. However, the review should then not only include what help Teague needs but steps needed to entice those people to the club to give him that support.

IE Pav = Ross Lyon recommendation

I still think it's just another MLG media cock-up. It would be madness to not include coaches in this.

Hasn't it been clarified that coaches are in the football department and therefore included?

Exactly.

Agree but hope Dayers has a greater ability to articulate properly and precisely the clubs position on important matters

Sayers

For that reason I think the club needs to drip feed Sayers to the media when talking about these matters.

You could even have MLG officially pass the baton on-air ~ "Luke will be spearheading this review and will be happy to field questions about it from this point forward" and he can retreat back to the boardroom where he's more comfortable.

Must have missed that. Good to know. MLG needs to be treated like pope Benedict. Lock him up in a room and don't let him talk to anyone.

You know
It’s hard to believe a review is needed
Look at the one constant in all this
It’s called window dressing

What shits me with you keogh, is the club is damned if it does and damned if it doesn't because the past can't be erased in your head.

Reminds me of an old girlfriend who never gets over the break up.

Its a review. All business and sporting clubs do it all around the world.

And the Board is slowly changing, and I know, even if the names changed on the Board, you would still be whinging with, I told you so, or its a farce because the body in control of the club is still called The Board and not Binary.

I am rapt to be having a Review of the Assistants, the Conditioning Dept, the psychs, the real decison makers who make recommendations to The Board. These are the answers we want answered and addressed.

Most scribes in the Media, with the exception of Robbo and his Newscorp 'yes Robbo' men, Whateley, Ralph and keogh, think the List is fine. Maybe one two or three players short. I bet the doomsdayers, anti carlton linchmob will all back track too when we have the Football Dept, including Game Plan upgraded to an elite standard ie sharpen the edges, get an unconditional brand of footy and weed out the passengers, which only a Review can do. Sacking the Coach isn't what's needed now. I want the football Dept fixed so its fit for purpose. Football first. Politics second. Even if politics is going fine, we will still need Football Dept sorted.

Having a Review of the Football Dept is a good thing and a step in the RIGHT direction, and the timing couldn't be better. Agree with this last line?

The only thing missing from the update is the proposed time line - does anyone know when the panel is expected to report back to the board?

Shortly after Sayers sends them the findings, yeah?!

What I don't get is hearing criticism about the timing, starting it now rather than end of season.

Starting it now means the findings get delivered at the start of our 2022 preparations, rather than early next year when it's too @#$%&! late to do anything about it.

Right on.

Also we need to make decisions on Assistant Coaches before August 1st.

Its great timing. Can't look in the rear view mirrors,; that horse has bolted.

What’s the point of a full review when Teague is not getting reviewed. I mean he is an important part of the football dept. Not saying get rid of him but he needs to be reviewed too. What a crock !!

The Football Dept gets shaken and there will something regarding Teague's coaching, connection with Assistant and development Coaches, and Match day set up.

Given its led by Sawyers and not MLG, I think he wants answers/ a response to all the media speculation about Teagues on field, tactics, game plan and general persona.

This is BIG. hence external panelists led by an ex PWC Chairman. There's going to be answers; with this client, its personal.
