The Carlton Board= NSW state government

Both out of debt.

Both in lockdown.

Both have richest history in the country.

Both investing heavily in infrastructure.

Carlton Board ahead because they are an Princes Park: centre of the Universe.

Carlton Board have the Navy Blues, NSW the Two Blues.

There's differences.

FYI I'm a proud Victorian.

I'm not a fan of politicians, and have had the pleasure of PMs and Premiers coming to our house or working with our family over the years (hence I understand what they are), but when you consider that 90% of all Australian citizens coming back home to get away from badlands, and land in Sydney and isolate here, with welcoming arms regardless of the fact some are from WA.SA, Vic etc I have to say ie doing every other states dirty work, then if these tiny outbreaks experienced in Sydney are considered failure, you have no idea what your sum equates to.

I am having a ball in nsw, whilst WA throw their arms up and do nothing to repatriate their citizens, regardless of the fact they are probably 10th generation Western Australians.

I don't give a stuff about stuff like that, but you obviously need to understand you are oblivious to the workings of this situation.

Not to get political but when the 6 cases of COVID delta were reported in Bondi in mid June why didn’t she shut the whole of Sydney down into full lockdown
McGowan would of done that
Idiot

Have to agree Keogh. Ridiculously slow in locking down and now paying the price.
Let’s keep everything crossed, the whole country doesn’t keep getting caught up.
I don’t however, feel that the rest of Australia will be avoiding NSW govt’s incompetence.

Unfortunately almost certainly it will
On top of this
There is likely to be another strain even worse than delta because vaccination rates across the world are different
So whilst In UK you have a vaccination rate of around 60% and people walking around doing what they like other countries haven’t had their medical staff vaccinated
This promotes the virus mutating again
This thing will be around for another year and a half
Personally with the NSW government zero cases is unlikely and your not going to reach a 90% vaccination rate till sometime next year
So you definitely won’t be going to NSW for a long time
Thanks Gladys and Brad

We will never reach a 90% vaccination rate.

Yep your probably right
Too many selfish lazy loopy people in the world
Very glad to live in the South West of WA
80 % may bring herd immunity
But I think people generally don’t get that that there is long uncertainty still with this thing

Back to footy matters
The board needs to go

I agree and thought the same at the time, because lockdown doesn't bother me (I'm selfish I guess)

Not an idiot given the nsw govt has been able to control ALL previous outbreaks.
I don't think anyone really factored the hostility of the delta strain. That was idiotic...and the Health advisors make those calls, not the politicians.

Believe me, McGowan is no hero, so drop the hero worship.
During these times its easy to ride on the coat tails of hysteria.
Leaders in history prey on their population under these types of circumstances.

Iron ore exports are pumping out in record quantities and record prices.
If the country blocked China from our Iron Ore, like the Chinese are blockading Australianproducts (they can get elsewhere), whilst Brazil Iron Ore has huge issues that wont be solved for another 2 years, then McGowan wouldn't be a big hero.

In 2 years when China focuses on Brazil for unlimited supply of Iron Ore, WA will be putting its hand out just as it did for over 100 years for the eastern states to bail them out. Fact.
We are one country though. WA getting a little ahead of itself and a bit cocky. Theres an economic war going on our there, and WA can't fight that one on its own. I can already see the WA Independence flag on the bottom on the mast ready to be lifted. Be careful what you wish for.

Back to footy. Politics and hysteria go hand and hand. Hence the hysterical commentary.

The Review needs to take place.
Slow down Grasshopper.
Seek to understand before you're understood.
You're on a tangent about the Board, but you're not God, and you have to remember, yours is only an opinion, not dogma.

Calling them loopy is pretty selfish to be honest.

No doubt grassy that WA relies heavily on mining to balance the books
Thing with McGowan is he is unlike most politicians
He is honest for a poli.
He doesn’t talk too much shit like Glad Bags
There are 59 seats in the WA government
He won 53 including all but one in the Western suburbs of Perth
Blue ribbon country
He is a refreshing change
Thank god we have him
