How do I explain to my boys that whilst we are in Melbourne I don't want to go to the game for the 2nd week in a row?

I promised them the Dome.

I'm not interested in the game, the club, the ins, the outs

Good Luck indeed. Not sure a junkyard dog can take down an ox, despite its tenacity. The ox is slow. Very @#$%&! slow.

Out: Menzel (inj), Rowe, Carrazzo, Tuohy, Scotland, Jamison (inj)

In: Temay, Waite, Bell, Docherty, McLean, Watson

Carrazzo, Tuohy and Scotland need to find form in the reserves. Rowe should be banished for being the tall who needs to be hidden at either end of the ground when the other end is under pressure.

Henderson to defence and invest in finding a new forward structure, which can afford to lack height more so than the defence. Temay comes in to provide some defensive pressure and zip in the forward line. McLean and Bell to provide our contested ball winning ability alongside Cripps, while Murphy, Gibbs and Thomas work on providing run, spread and defensive balance when we're not in possession.

Docherty a straight swap for Tuohy; Everitt to defence, Walker to the forward half. Curnow in the defensive accumulator role Carrazzo normally gets.

If Thomas doesn't come up, retain Scotland and use him off HF.

Dr Strangelove needs to send a message and drop Thomas. If he keeps ignoring him he will lose the players if he hasn't already.

Not sure what you're talking about Club; good player, running to the right areas but lacking a bit of zip at the moment. I'd prefer other people work harder with the footy so he's got something to present to and work for possessions.

If his form goes through the floor I'm happy to revise my view, but he's trending upward at the moment. When the total work rate of the team is down, you need to pick the blokes out who aren't doing enough and go from there, I don't care if the ball magically fires backwards when they kick it forwards if they can make it to the right spots on the ground in a reasonable frame of time.

Once the lazy pricks are gone or have reformed their ways, then I'm interested in improving skill level. I'll take elite decision making over elite skills any day.

Tuohy is just awful at present. Scotland looks....slow. Carazzo adds nothing. Rowe or Jamison one too many. Warnock is useless.

Don't care who comes in, as long as they are fit and hungry.

Watching the Dogs now...they will slaughter us.
