It's possible, Sheeds has never met anyone before in his life

With the amount of red wine that this old drunk consumes these days is it any wonder he cant remember meeting anyone.

Sounds like the door in this instance - he might be carrying the can for the Brock McLean debacle.

Interesting.
From an outsider's point of view you'd have to guess that Ratts and/or Reilly would have played a large part in it

Sorry that was my speculation - but as they say in business you are only as good as your last bad decision - not sure who is taking responsibility for the Brock McLean trade but i do know that Stephen Icke was given plenty of inside information of players that were available at Pick 11 who were much better options than Brock McLean including Nathan Fyffe and Isaac Smith. Icke chose to ignore this information.

Isaac Smith?

Think we were after Lucas, Pittard and Jetta.

Might want to check that one there fella. Smith wasn't even in the draft until the 2010 pool. McLean was traded before 09 draft. Unless your info is coming from Doc Brown.

Oops sorry wrong draft but in 2009 it was Nathan Fyffe and in 2010 it was Isaac Smith. and we had good information about both of them.

I find this an interesting one.
Why has tension only developed recently when we've been more successful?
What is the nature of the issues b/w Icke and Ratts?

Hope this is all for the best

Don't mean to be nasty to Icke but .... I'm content with this move.
We needed a change here and more importantly some "heavy hitting" when it comes to trading. Lets see how we go now!

This could be a precursor for Tippet or Walker?
