Is it just me or does it appear that this thread has been somewhat doctored over the last few hours...?

Seems like we're missing a good 10 to 15 posts.

FWIW I was enjoying it immensely until that point?... :?

Yep, part of the thread was chopped out.

The thread was fun up to that point so please continue on having fun trying to work out what that...thing is.

Lost over a page I reckon.

Some thin skins obviously.

I was in the crowd near the "thing".

Maybe it was a TC moderator?

I think it's some face painted bombers fan.. you can kind of make out the red sash across his face.

A bit more crazy than other suggestions but who knows?

Been watching the first quarter.

Is that them in the bottom right hand corner directly below the blonde in the peachy white shirt and next to the balding aged guy with glasses?

Shot was taken from the first quarter. In another close up of the cheer squad in the first, you can identify the lady below with dark skin, glasses, red scarf etc. She has totally different people around her.

Given the ball hardly went down there in the third, the first quarter is your best chance at trying to locate the mystery.

A machine that enables time travel will have been invented by 2036.

So it could be anyone from that time onwards.

It is certainly an event worth coming back to see.

The visitor looks like he or she has some sort of a skin disorder.

I didnt think that the war was that bad.

There's actually a time traveller who was caught on film while using a mobile phone - in a Charlie Chaplain movie.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gj3qesTjOE8

Take a look at the lady wearing the hat with her hand on her ear - from 0.21 onwards.

I want to know how ubiquitous these time travel machines are??.....I mean why didn't 'it' travel back to the grand final rather than round 18 Car v Ess......it was a good mark, but it wasn't THAT good.

Maybe it's Andrew Walker from the year 2036. Either that or Eddie Betts.
