How can Hamill be a backline coach? And after what he did to us - he is back.

OMG…….. Someone tell me this is a good appointment…

A bit of serendipity perhaps? John Elliott departs permanently, hamill back at the club to add some 'presence'.

Not sure enough time has passed to be ok with the appointment of this mofo.

I wonder if Voss played any role in Oli Wines' big improvement over the past couple of years.
I feel like this is the roadmap for Crippa.
Basically, three things:
1) Get back to his strengths (being strong and getting the ball)
2) Improve his running speed/endurance
3) More of the team stuff (like giving the ball off rather than breaking the tackle...)

4)creating space for quicker more explosive team mates who can burst away from the pack
5) apply more blocks and shepherds

Great appointment !

I'm looking forward to Voss and Hamill (and hopefully others) adding some mongrel into our players.

I believe Vossy's word was "powerful"

Let's play with some intent and power and grunt and prick and attitude.

Sick of us being so meek and timid.

I think its fine from that perspective.
He was a true blue (until he wasn't  ).
I for one welcome him back.

Not sure what sort of an assistant he will make.
But fits the Voss mould of tough as nails.

I'm genuinely happy about what Carlton has done recently and all the appointments.

I'm just pessimistic and negative about the rest of the world ...

Can we give St Kilda Sam Cranage back?

I believe he’s still working on his pace, strength and skills.

Yes if there was one thing Hamill did well it was harass and chase and basically go in hard as nails.

Hamill and Voss both very competitive, tough footballers.

The players on our list who haven't busted their gut and gone in hard won't know what's hit them.

If Hamill is backline coach, I guess that means Scarlett ain’t coming?
