This kid has improved from his first game with us. I am hoping this kid continues to improve. Someone from a rival forum had the time to compare him to Fevola at the same age. There wasnt much difference. (apart from fev was and still is in love with himself). Just gotta feeling in 12-24 months we will look back at the hendo-lucas / fevola trade as a win for us. The kid is just 20 y.o! He will make mistakes but he will be our CHF. Remember at the lions he was used as a defender not a forward.

Anyway thanks to the person from the forum that provided the below stats:

Player Statistics Comparison

And the most pertinent stat will be how many times their respective teams have looked for and kicked to both of them as targets going forward.

I'm tipping, percentage wise it will be an absolutely smashing.

It's his hunger for the contest that makes me excited. His 2nd and 3rd efforts are fantastic. He truly busts his arse.

My only hope is that this aspect of his game does not dwindle the longer he's around. Go Hendo!

Also if you compare Hendo to Jonathon Brown after 25 games

Hendo disposal per game 11
JB 12.5

Hendo Marks pg 4.6
JB 5.5

Hendo gls pg 1.3
JB 1.7

Hendo Tackles 2.
JB2.5

He's not far off the mark.

.........and I doubt Brown spent his first 15 games in the backline Caz.

I thought the idea this year was to not see Hendo as the next Fev. Yet here we are comparing him with Fev, Jonathan Brown and even Sticks. These sorts of statistical comparisons just raise unrealistic expectations. Let Hendo be Hendo.

More importantly, does he own a dildo, and has he rooted Lara Bingle?

Fair point. But several on TC are suggesting the Blues don't have a star KP forward.

What these stats show is that all the current KPP stars had to start somewhere and that Hendo is in the same ball park as they all were after just 25 games. So the kid needs to be cut some slack and allowed to be 'Hendo' as you suggest. If people can't see he already has the desire and skill but not yet the experience to be a power forward in the future then they are not paying attention to history.

Has anyone seen Hendo drop his lip, gob off or show any form of poor attitude that would be detrimental to his career development. He is a gem of kid and he is coming on very, very nicely.

Regards Cazzesman

..personally, i think comparing stats of diff players from diff periods isn't a fair comparison, given the change in game style over the years.. .... ..forgetting the stats though, i reckon Hendo's gonna be good to v.good.. ..could get even better, who knows.. ..i do think he'll be a more old fashioned type, lead up CHF and indeed he seems more 'comfortable' that way..

..oh, and the signatures of 'the Hulk', and supposed correction from blueboy dan.. ..yer both kinda right..

I like his attack on the ball. I wonder if he would have that trait if we had him from the start. Seems to be something we don't teach our guys, and we only get when we recruit.

Another reason I love Robo.
