From the AgeKnocked knee but Judd OK Quote:
CARLTON last night revealed skipper Chris Judd had left the field for precautionary reasons after receiving a knock to the knee in the Blues' 29-point loss to North Melbourne on Friday night.
Judd limped off in the final minute at Etihad Stadium and finished the match on the bench.
He later had his left knee iced as the Blues rued a wasted opportunity to push for a top-four spot.
Judd attended a recovery session at Visy Park yesterday and is expected to line up against Fremantle on Saturday night at Etihad Stadium.
''With Juddy, it was a knock to the knee. The time we took him off it [the game] was pretty well done and dusted,'' Blues general manager of football operations Steven Icke said yesterday. ''Rather than risk any further injury, it was a precautionary action we took with him.''
