So after 3 hours of waiting at Monash Medical Centre the really nice hot young doc tells me that i have major ligament and cartilage damage...Unfortunately there is too much swelling to know how much damage. Will have to wait till wed when the swelling goes down to get an MRI scan.........

And it happened in the first 5 mins......

Bad luck guys. Let them have a little victory, the crushing defeat of next season will be ample reward.

It was a great game, the most competative hit out we have had, and i really enjoyed it regardless of the result...

Lukablue going down early hurt us, probably cost us the game in the end as he would have helped us to a healthier lead in the first half, and no doubt slowed them down in the second when there best players arrived...

I thinked we missed Big dannyG and Fevolution also.

In the end their midfield just ran all over the top of us...

I can't remember the guys name who came with murp (blonde hair, little nugget), he played abit in the ruck towards as well, but without him we would of lost pretty badly. Gun footballer.

We getting some pics up??

Who had the camera in the stands??

Ps: I can't move today!

I think the question has to be asked...

Where was SparkeyBlue and No.1Blue?

Fair call mate, my tendonitis in my foot was a lot worse come Sunday morning - and by the time I made it back home from the missus' you'd left left your 'I'm heading off now' message so I couldn't really notify you.

That said, I would have taken my bro down to help out (he doesn't have a car), but he was pretty late back from a 21st in Warburton he went to with our folks.

Without feeling like I need to overdo it in apologising, I was still seriously keen to play Sunday morn - figured I'd dope myself up like I did to play cricket - but my old man and my missus talked me out of it.

Sorry guys for letting you down. :(

On another note, have you ever thought about doing a round robin forum footy carnival? About this time of the year, 4-6 forum teams battling it out for the :garthp: cup (or equivalent)?

I like this idea. :-D

I'm happy to try and get a regular fixture against the RWO guys up here.

Just a quick note to let say thanks to you guys for a very enjoyable day. Some of the football played by both teams was of great standard and although we won (had to put that in), meeting people from both sides of the fence was the best part of the whole day. Thanks for the loan of a couple of players, so that we could get under way and I hope that when we renew battle again the game will be played in the same spirit and level of skill, as this years. I also hope that everybody from both sites that confirm they can play, make it. Lukablue I hope you have a speedy recovery. One of our guys also did a knee, around the same time as you so iam sure next year you can compare stories. I also like the idea of a round robin type comp, I think that it may also get everybody who comitts, to come and play. Thanks once again.

Cheers Vaughan.
