Interesting to note that they didn't think Scotland actually eye gouged, instead it was misconduct in that he put his hand in Tarkyn's face?? I'm confused now, I thought that if you put your hand in someone's face it would be deemed high contact & a free kick paid...

Just heard on SEN that we will be appealing the conviction against Heath Scotland.

Can anyone confirm?

not only that, we're also appealing the Scotland decision... could be risky, although it really doesn't look like there was any intent...

I think it's a good move to try and appeal.

Scotland is not a dirty player and would not want to have a reputation as an eye-gouger. I think Heath deserves the opportunity to clear his name and keep his clean record intact.
