On Ch7's post game show on Saturday they said Cerra wouldn't be back as soon as hoped and was doubtful for both remaining H&A games - no recurrence or anything, just caution. Hopefully untrue, we need as many of these blokes getting some km's in their legs as possible.

Apparently Brad Lloyd was on SEN and said Harry and JSOS a chance for this week.

Harry was seen training last week, as was Gov and Walshy and Cerra.

Anything can happen, its a full on praccy game and the more games we get into the boys before the break the better imo.

I agree we need these boys game fit.

Cerra's a super fit player, in elite form.
As long as we keep winning and he rests the better for us he's fresh and fit.

I'm expecting Cerra plays vs GWS especially when we have beaten GCS and cemented our spot in the Finals.

and Harry, and Gov, and even Philp is backing up. Silvagni is ready to go.

Amazing what a sniff of Finals does to the psyche of the whole group.

Our boys are hungry, and fit for purpose.

Here’s where things stand from a Carlton injury perspective leading into Round 23.

Sam Docherty (cork)

- Will be assessed later in the week in regards to his availability

Jack Silvagni (knee)

- Back in full training
- Expected to be available this week

Harry McKay (knee)

- Has been back in full training and is expected to be available to play this week

Corey Durdin (shoulder)

- Will be a test to play this week

Adam Cerra (hamstring)

- Aiming to be available next week

Mitch McGovern (hamstring)

- Aiming to be available next week

Sam Walsh (hamstring)

- Aiming to be available next week

Matt Kennedy (knee)

- Chance to be available next week

Hasnt C Durdin been a test the last 3 weeks?

I wonder if Walsh would have played this week if we'd lost to Melbourne.

Great to hear our injury list is getting shorter.
There is going to be some unlucky players who will have to make way for them.

He will play this week

Doc getting calf scanned

Some others might play this week but most likely all will not

how much of that frenetic fast play and swarming the oppo will we lose with guys like kennedy and harry coming back?

like, cerra for dow - like for like no brainer, cerra is better.
walsh for fish or does he come in for hewitt?

kennedy will be behind hewitt in the depth chart now, yeah?

if harry could ruck it's a no brainer for pitto. but he can't so he'll replace someone who's been responsible for the frenetic foot speed, forward pressure and locking the ball in our front half that both dees, pies and aint's couldn't deal with.

it's going to be interesting to see how this shakes out.

walsh, cerra and imo sos for pitto are the no-brainer upgrades - everyone else will really, possibly even dramatically change the make up and balance of this current side.

After missing three games after dislocating the shoulder he had reconstructed in December, King is pushing to return against the Blues this weekend.

King has been earmarked and prepared for this do or die Finals like game vs Carlton. He underwent an arthroscope on his shoulder after dislocating it in round 17.

Let me say that again. Dislocation, Arthroscope, misses 3 games and returns after 4 weeks. Confirms my thoughts on Harry McKay's return as early as the Melbourne game, and should be the GCS and GWS games.

Like I said, whilst Russell publicly stated 6-8 weeks for Harry, Harry had made it back in half the time with a previous knee injury, and with Harry back running and a possible against Dees if desperately needed, he will be back just as did King from StKilda from an arthroscope.

Russell is getting the troops fit and firing at the right end of the season.

Walsh is ready to go to, but they will give him another week, along with Gov.

SOS is ready, and Cerra and Kennedy will be right for Finals, VFL & AFL.

We could give both comps a shake. Thanks Andrew Russell.

Like I said, I was sharing what I was told.
