I always thought it was a communication error, Andrew McKay was told to delist Nick Graham but delisted Nick Holman by mistake.

But I think we all know that under our system of development he would have been playing in the bush somewhere by now.

He sort of is, isn’t he?

Main List (32 33 retained)

Rookie: Ramsay
Retire/Delist: Casboult, O'Brien, Murphy, Setterfield

Rookie List (5 4 + 1 cat B retained)
Promote: McDonald, Kennedy
Re-sign: Honey, Parks, Owies (cat B), Kennedy... Mirkov already retained
Retire/Delist: Betts, Boyd, Cottrell

I believe a ready-made CHF will be at the top of the shopping list, ideally somewhere in the middle of the price bracket. Sam Day (admittedly, addresses NONE of the injury concerns), Esava Ratugolea (bonus 2nd ruck solve) or Jake Riccardi should meet the price point. I would have Day as clubhouse leader, mostly because we'd retain all of our chips.

The brief glimpses we saw of McDonald were enough to convince me that he should be retained. He plays with the right sort of intent that we are looking for at either end of the ground.

Add Charlie McKay as a F/S and auto-fill the rest. Job done.

Kennedy’s last month should see him retained. Can’t see HQ letting us keep him on the rookie list with the cap going back up.

Clearly, we need to get something going across half forward. To be fair, there’s a bunch of pretty good solutions on the injury list.

Looking back at SOS drafting it is starting to look pretty good the only one who might be a failure out of our early pick is LOB

Should see him retained? He’s been in our top 3 players in pretty much every game he’s played since he’s been back in the team. He would only be second to Walsh over the past month. Absolute lock for another contract, this time not on the rookie list

In that case, I hope they don’t mix our Sams and Jacks up

There's a Jack Williams in the mix as a top-20 tall this year. Would round us out nicely.

Not to mention a certain Charlie McKay.

A real ‘who’s on first’ scenario.

Charlie McKay.

The ultimate forward line cyborg who can also treat your dog for tapeworm.

Can't really blame SOS for that one either, that's firmly on us. We cursed him with the TC sponsorship

Why don't we just start sponsoring the first picked scum player every year?

Any chance we can start sponsoring coaches?

195cm, but too slow.

I know we are looking for a Levi replacement (Fwd-ruck), but noit Williams for me.

We should target a player with ability to run, like Tom DeKoning.

Still think if we can snag a ruckman who can take the No 1 ruck mantle from Pittonet, and goes allright close to goal, like Hawks captain, McEvoy, then we have got our set of big men back and forward (when Marchbank returns next year)

Post subject:  Re: List Management 2021

We need a Key defender before we need a ruck/forward. After Weitering and Jones (who is already 30) we only have Marchbank who is undersized and was born injured and Oscar McDonald who was a last minute fill-in. That's it. We have no young Key defenders developing. We are extremely lucky Jones and Weiters have remained fit all year.

If we have Harry, JSOS, and eventually at least one of Charlie and Gov playing, sometimes both, we really don't have room for another ruck/forward. I'd be happy playing TDK as first ruck and getting a chop out from JSOS, Cripps at throw ins around the ground, Harry in the forward line etc.

Run like Tom De Koning… that’s peak cheer squad. Classic.

Man a key post AND take multiple 10min stints on the bench.

Get your resume in to the club before the review is done. You could be on the coaching panel.
